Would ya trade for J. McCown Cut/trade Foles?

Would you trade a day 3 draft pick, for McCown and cut/trade Foles. My thinking is you get a more consistent QB and although a small upgrade its falls under "leaving no stone unturned" card.

Still believe do what is needed to get Wentz @ 1st overall pick!

I expect the Rams to get a QB fairly high, possibly with a trade up.

The Rams don't have enough picks to trade up, trade for a back up QB, AND fill the holes they need to fill. So no.

Just sayin'... Just asking I would want McCown over Foles. Better résumé and a better back up for us. Go get Wentz too.

I could see McCown...Mike Groh was with the Bears when he was there, however, Josh had some serious concussion issues, with him and Keenum, it could be Chris Miller and Chris Chandler A.K.A Crystal Chandelier all over again.

They said they will bring in competition at QB.
That should be competition for the starting gig.
Why bring in a player who's high side is solid back up?
I have just as much confidence that Foles can get his act together as I do of a McCown coming in and being the starter

If he gets cut, sure why not? We have way to many holes to trade away any draft picks for a very temporary solution though.

Unless there's a big, still to be paid roster bonus, it'd be silly to cut him now. What if there's an injury in camp? It's not like RG3 is known for his durability, after all. And him being cut late in camp means that he wouldn't have time to learn the Rams' system.

I expect the Rams' QBs this year to be Keenum, Mannion, and a rookie high draft pick, with Foles kept around through camp just in case, unless the Rams get a trade offer, which I doubt.

As @-X- said in another thread. Every writer, with every network is going to try and link every possibly available QB in the League to the Rams until After Draft day! It's getting boring real fast!! ( Not X's exact words, but that's the jest of it!)

Whats the point? To send a pick away on a guy going to get cut? First off, he sucks balls. Second, Foles sucks balls. McCown isn't better then Keenum to me. Which means Keenum+Mannion+Rookie is far better then Keenum+Mannion+McCown+Rookie because you have to cut someone that you used precious draft capital on. It just makes no sense. Now if they will go Foles for McCown straight up, fine. But if picks are involved, no thanks. Backups are backups and we need our picks.
