I thought with the draft approaching that it would be a good time to ask the question, "will the Rams make the playoffs in 2013?"

It seems a lot of fans are drinking the Kool-Aid with the acquisition of Jared Cook and Jake Long, but I just don't know yet.

To be honest the Niners are going to be super good. Seattle looks like they'll be strong and Arizona is mostly a qb away from being a pretty good team.

My concern is that the Rams might be too young. We have talent on the roster and the draft will add some more, but let me ask again, will we make it to the playoffs.

I hate to say it, but my guess is it will have to be a wild card spot or not at all.

Yeah, a wildcard seems about right. There's only going to be one division winner, and I don't think we're quite there yet. Of course, stranger things have happened, and we showed last year that the other teams in the NFCW aren't as tough as everyone makes them out to be. They got better, we got better, and we still went 4-1-1, so.....

Wildcard is a possibility. We must play well in the division again though.

Seattle is overrated.

The entire media got a woody b/c of those 50 point games, but they were a blip. Inflated scores due to ST, defensive, and backup scores. Who did they play anyway...oh yeah Arizona and Buffalo. They won the SF game out of pure emotion. They are fuckin overrated. I cannot wait until the Rams go into their house and beat the shit out of them. Win or lose, they are gonna punch those goddamn seacraps in the fuckin balls. It would make Trent Williams proud.

I think they will be expected to and therein lies a trap, they could easily be better this year and not win 7 games again.

I.E. are we gonna be able to count on Kaepernick to cough it up to JJ again.

Wild card sounds about right, possibly 3 teams from the west make it into the playoff's. hmm, not too bad :sly:

I wouldn't be shocked at all if the Rams made the post season. It's a tough division, but I can see Fisher getting this team in. All depends on how we draft. I think it's a very real possibility.

Yes. Wild Card in 2013, NFC West Division Champion in 2014. I think we are one more year away from winning the division. Seems like these things come in "threes." Vermeil won it in his "third" year, and Fisher will do the same, and he will be around for a long time to keep the continuity with the players and coaches.

If we can win a wild card we will be in the division race too.

I'm not ready to make a prediction because we still seem vulnerable at WR, LB, and S.

We will be competitive, no doubt.
