Not sure if you are being sarcastic , but since St.L is a small market a lot of the people attending the games are from 100 plus miles away and the price of gas has curtailed a lot of recreational travel.

Trying to tell it like it is, the high cost of going to a game almost kills the avg. Joe from going.

Im not downplaying the effect of the economy on millions of people, but to say the reason the Rams are not selling out is not accurate.

The cardinals are on pace to pack 3,314,932 people into Busch Stadium this year. With an average of about $30 per ticket that equates to about $100,000,000. Thats not even including the playoffs which will bring in 45,000 per game at a much higher average ticket price.

IF the Rams were to sell out every game to capacity(cant remember the last time that happen) they would bring in $34,848,000. One third of what the cardinals bring in.

StL is only a football town when the football team is winning. Bottom line
