I loved the Nerf when I was young--like 7 to 11-- because it was smaller in size and soft and I could chuck it for a mile. A "real" football was hard to get a grip on because it seemed so big and heavy by comparison.yes, I had a Nerf football growing up, but I much preferred the real deal.
When I was a freshman I was 5'3 125 pounds. Smallest kid in the PE class. Got picked on a lot by the bigger kids. By the time I was a senior I was 6'1" 220 pounds. I went looking for the guys who picked on me and they all moved away by then.I could throw the nerf farther than all my friends. I weighed 130lbs in HS so Nerf was my max in the sport.![]()
