Where have you been?

Seeing as this board is pretty new. Most of us must have started somewhere. So I ask you, where all have you been?

I started at 13 years ago on the Stlouisrams.com message board. Was there until it got closed down (I feel like I was a big reason for it, and still regret it to this day)

I think attempted to make a home at realramsfans but I couldn't get into the vibe of the new people so I quickly turned and ran away.

I spent several years lurking on ramsrule (The Herd), but found it impossible to get along with anyone.

All that lead me to hear. We all made decisions one way or another that lead us to this place. Thought it may contain some good stories.

I can't remember my screen name at STLToday, but I had a brief stint there in 2005 as my first forum experience.

I was invited to realramsfans at the start up and was a long time member (same screen name) before joining the team here in 2010.

The membership here is the most impressive collection of fans on the web. We have the best!

I had a few posts on the PD under the name IHATETHEPATRIOTS. As soon as Paulie started up this joint, I bounced on the devil and put the pedal to the flo. Every once in a while I will post as Smackadabassmon on PFT.

I was The Reaper back on the official site, "still reapin" on real rams fans and the beginning of the herd and then my current name since I forgot my login due to my lurking. This is by far the most in depth I've gotten in prolly 8-9 years on any board. I've never shared my thoughts or opinions much after the original went down.

I discovered my first forum of any kind while reading Ram stories in the PD online. That was around 2009 I believe.

That was my first opportunity to actually talk with other Ram Fans unless I was at a game. I couldn't believe my eyes. As a geographically isolated Ram, this was going to be like heaven... I thought. I was immediately attacked when some of my first posts EVER contained content of my personal thoughts on Bulger. I found my way around pretty quickly, and I just couldn't refrain from busting certain posters balls over some of their stupid shit. That's not what I wanted out of the whole forum thing, but over there I really had no other choice. It was my only outlet to actually talk to other Rams,,, and dip-shits alike.

I still post over there a tiny bit. I like some of the freaks that post over there,,, but you have to really sift through some major sewage at times. I can be a world class asshole when provoked btw,,, I know that many of you may find that hard to believe :ww:

My problem is that I can't ever read enough Ram stuff,,,, so my addiction leads me to some very embarrassing places. I've lurked on at least one other board,,, that can't be good right. It's incurable. I even have like 100 posts at The Herd.

I recently noticed that I have more posts here than I do over at the PD. Made me laugh when I saw that.

I was very happy when Paul created this board. I joined when I first discovered it as a result of reading Paul's posts in the PD. So much appreciate being able to discuss our team in the manner that happens here. So really,,, ROD is the only Ram Forum that I have really felt a close connection to.

I'm Haile Selassie I on every board I've ever posted on.

Started out on the O board, from there I was invited to RRF, and quietly hung around at Clan Ram and the Herd,until CGI invited me here


never went to the PD board as a member, mainly because of all the trash I had heard about it in my travels

I was a lurker for a long time... Clan Ram, here, and very rarely the PD (although I never saw anything worthwhile there so I didn't go very often).... Clan Ram had some good posters, but a lot of the guys seemed pretty anal about things... This board was always pretty relaxed, had good people, great discussion, I liked the look and all that, so I registered... This is my one and only Rams board. Like a good steak, sometimes you just gotta wait around for the perfect one.

Posted at the PD board from late 2008 to sometime in the summer or middle of 2010.

In between that time period, I joined Clan Ram, posted/lurked for a few months before I came here after R.O.D. being advertised in the forum and haven't gone back.

I posted a couple of times at RRF but my only real board was The Rams Huddle. I remember reading many of you at other forums though.

Came here when The Rams Huddle imploded.

I have always been a draftnik, so I got messaged by a guy who liked my drafts, and he invited me to the PD site, back when Bulger played. Thank God, I found this place, although I don't remember if I got recruited, or just stumbled into it. I think X recruited me, do you remember? It might have been another guy here. I feel bad that I forgot, because I owe him one.

I was DR RAM there too, after about six months of being CALRAMFAN, or something like that, which is why I changed, it was so close to other tags that people jumped on me, because they thought I was someone else that they had a history with.
