Hope you are right! I definitely think the Rams have a HUGE TASK/
CHALLENGE to make the Playoffs next season but with McVay as their Head Coach I am certainly NOT counting them out!!!

LOL I've been saying it for months.

Now people like Cowherd are saying it. This team has the main components to win now. If they get the final pieces in the draft who can contribute this year they can be very good. I said it last year and had the caveat that they need to stay relatively healthy. I say it again. No team could have survived that injury plague that the Ram's suffered last year. Put that behind them and the players are there.

On the DL Hoecht flashed at a position he's never played. With a full year of coaching and last year's experience he could be very good. Donald will be Donald the best DLman that has ever played the game. They will miss Gaines, but Murchison flashed enough to give hope he can produce. If Pleasant can get Rochell off the bench where Morris stuck him then he will have Rochell and Durant on the boundaries with 3 good safeties in Fuller, Lake and Yeast. Jolly is undersized but so was Darious Williams, and hes faster and more agile than Kendrick as a potential SCB in a zone scheme.

The offense is basically intact with Kupp, Jefferson, Atwell, Skowronek and McCutcheon. I see them adding another WR in the draft as well. The Rams have two good RBs in Akers and Williams and will add a RB3 in the draft.

The Rams aren't a bad team now. Adding even 3 good rookies who can contribute this year would put them over the top. More than that this team will be locked and loaded going into 2024 and 2025. I for one am excited because I believe they are a playoff capable team this year but are going to be SB contenders in 2024 and 2025.

This year's Rams team could sneak up on a lot of teams. As Cowherd points out the NFCW is there for the taking. Making it into the playoffs as we have seen is a different animal. Anything can happen. The Rams have a pretty difficult schedule this year, but steel sharpens steel.

There are teams with a high ranked offense and horrible defense that have made the playoffs.

So, LFG in 2023!

Next you’re going to say The Rams will win the NFC West!
—Yeah ok sure ?

Let’s see if The Rams can beat the niners first.

I drink the Kool-aide,but right there isn’t much to go around. I guess you must have Hoarded it.

No Free-Agents & like Jake said. There own players Mcvay developed signed for 1 year proof it deals.
Won’t think in 2024 some resign for multi-year contracts? Still waiting for 2023 draft. At least players back together starting to see how much 2 1/2 months(training) off helps .

I think it's possible that some good drafting and maybe some later trades will make the Rams a playoff contender. Good coaching will help as well. I never thought the playoffs were out of reach. But getting into SB 58 looks like a bridge too far.

I hope I"m wrong but I think the Rams are living within their means this season and hopefully, will do well. But 2024 or 2025, I see them going all in again and hopefully,. another title will be the result.

Here is adding to wishful thinking.Just wondering your thoughts on a writer like Jourdan. Is Jake more connected to Cowherd? You must have listen to that whole take.
I for one like the positive take
glad for some of The Rams moves.Believe they could make The Playoffs but who The Rams starting lineup will be is a MUST 4me to SUPPORT the movement. I won’t protest it either way.

It’s those first 3 picks. Gotta hit on not only starters, but someone who can be a future start to build around as our current ones ride off into the sunset with their TWO rings.

Just to add Vikings will have a tough season.Green Bay as well.

The Detroit Lions with being so bad & NOW with The Rams #6 pick overall is going to propel them to another LEVEL!

The NFC South looks weak again.

Almost every poster who has jokingly disagreed with your playoff-prediction and almost all of the rest of us who are VERY skeptical, will be Absolutely Fucking THRILLED if you are right, and we are wrong.

The vitriolic passion with which some are disagreeing with me given, as you note, our common interest, is noteworthy.

I think it’s essentially a defense mechanism (prepare for the worst, hope for the best).

Me…I don’t worry about being wrong. If, at the end of the season, I’m the one who missed the mark, I’ll just dust myself off and start thinking about how the Rams can build a championship contender in 2024!

Just one reminder… some people will say “I hate to say I told you so…” I won’t mind saying that! :laugh1:
