I think the Rams win, but I have concerns that weren't answered in TC or pre-season. Here's three that concern me most.

1. Covering TE's. Rams D was horrible at it last season and didn't look good at scrimmages with Cowpokes and Chargers.

2. RB's recognizing and picking up blitz's. Henderson was clueless last season and in TC I never saw them do a drill on it. I have no idea how good Sony Michel is at it. Funk has no experience. Rams get into 3rd and long we'll find out.

3. Interior OL. How good will Brian Allen perform next to Edwards and Corbett? He did look much improved at TC, but never played in pre-season. Will it be enough vs the likes of Hicks and Bears DL?

What worries me the most is anything can happen regardless of what should happen (ie. last season's Jets loss).

This team has been hugely upgraded. They won with a first-year OL and without Akers. They played Henderson and Brown at RB. Michel is a huge upgrade over Brown. The difference between Michel and Brown is the same as between Stafford and Goff. Goff missed an open deep throw that would have been a TD. Stafford wouldn't miss that throw.

They now have D Jax out of the slot vs Reynolds last year. Most of all they have Stafford though Goff played well last year.

There is no way the Bears have upgraded their team to match what the Rams have done.

Oh BTW Michel can pass block and he will be the 3rd down RB.

Turn overs. As we saw on TNF, they are the equalizer. 1st game of the season no tackling up until tonight, I worry about the rust showing up as turn overs.

Agreed and it was one of the reasons I was glad the Rams made the deal. Michel is also underrated as a receiver out of the backfield because in New England that was always handled by James White.

Agree with all except the part about Goff playing well last year.

Injuries concern me. We seem to have a number of players that appear to be injury prone.

On offense I’ll be focused on the IOL to see if they can establish their will. Allen needs to at least play as good as Blythe last year but Im Looking for better.

On defense I’ll be focused on our soft middle from last year. Reeder and Young simply need to play better against the run and TE coverage.

Injuries are my only worry. Even if we start slow and lose the game I would be confident of righting the ship over the course of a long season.

So yeah. Injuries.

Losing Eddie Goldman is a devasting loss for the Bear's interior defense and will make life easier for Brian Allen.

Yes sir! Hicks is an issue all by himself but Goldman is one very good NT.

And yes It will make Brian Allen's opening day a bit easier. That's a good thing.

This isn't the same great 2018 bears defense-(PFF ranked the 2018 Bears as the second-best defense of the 2010s)

The only thing that worries me with our current roster is health. IMO the injury bug is the only thing that can derail our season. With all of our stars healthy I believe we can win any game and should win most.

I’m not really worried about any of it. I’d be concerned if this game was against the 69ers or a better team. This game is more like a tune up imo. It’s like in college when your team starts the season against Toledo. It’s one of the best scheduling match ups this team could have hoped for.

Is that we find out just how serious & deep the loss of RB Cam Akers was to this team now & way into the future.

My opinion & thoughts on DB's David Long & Taylor Rapp's abilities in coverage are 100% correct.

My opinion of the signing of DL A'Shawn Robinson being a real poor Snead decision is also correct.
