I was just talking to my wife about this a couple weeks ago. Telling her as a kid I was in love with her and now she....well.....isn't....the same.

not quite the same thing , but was just sitting here wondering whatever happened to Lauren Tewes , she played Julie McCoy on the Love Boat , I had a pretty big crush on her when I was a kid
I do remember she had a pretty big public battle with cocaine addiction in the 80's , pretty much what cost her , her job on the Love Boat , other then a few small TV parts after that , pretty much lost track of her
she was such a skinny thing in the early episodes of the Love Boat , she's put on a few pounds since then , but she is 67 years old now , she's still nice looking though
