I like the new Jets look!

And I really like the Tampa Creamsicle! Current Tampa and the red wine color, I do not like at all!

I am certainly concerned.
Why shouldn't we be? I havent seen a New Uni the past few years that actually looks good.

I hate the pointed stripes on the pants on the new Jets uni. They look horrible on the Broncos unis, so why would someone think they would look better if they were in green?
The stripes in our new uni need to be solid, simple and run all the way down the leg.
No blue pants. This shouldn't even be a consideration. White and Yellow only. (Unless of course they go to pure blue and white and save the yellow for throw backs)

Its unanimous on the horns. They stay on the helmet and sleeves.

Also. Dont get cute with the collar
Part of the problem is that the people assigned to work on the Rams uniforms from the team side and the supplier side need to justify their own existence.

If the best design is something that already exists or only needs absolute minimal changes, then what the hell is the team paying money for?

If the Rams are going to keep their classic design it's going to take the announcement of some stupid ass modernized look, followed by outcry, followed by some back-pedaling, and then eventually someone from way up the ladder (Demoff) coming out and admitting they should have just left a good thing be.

The team understands their brand and if they think a new design will sell better than the current one, they will change it.

The Rams unis should be nothing more than the Jack Youngblood era unis.
And one more thing, get rid of Nike. We all watch a lot of football. How long ago was it when Rebok had the contract?
The Nike unis are paper thin. You can see what color their skin is when they get sweaty. Its not right. I mean, I do not need to see "helmet head" when guys are getting up from a pile and the camera zooms in. Sometimes high def has its drawbacks.
I asked my wife if she noticed it and said she did.
Go back to Rebok.

I have years of marketing experience - and I can't tell you how many times in my experience that companies have effed up their branding to their own detriment. Despite the money, NFL teams are relatively small businesses, and the egos of a few affect what they do. Small to medium businesses - which NFL teams functionally are in how they are run - routinely have people who have no clue make crucial decisions - "because they had success elsewhere, so they know what they are doing". Poll the freakin' fans - they're the ones who matter!

They like it keep it super duper secret , and then have some big media event unveiling

Would be nice if they just let fans vote on it

kinda like last year with the helmet facemask color and the pants

should just come up with three or four different designs , for home and away , and just let the fans vote

It's a win win for most everyone

The Rams know their not stuck with a uniform the majority of the fans don't like

and the majority of the fans will like the new uniforms

the only ones that lose is the minority who voted otherwise , but at least those fans know where they stand , and the majority had spoken

One thing is for sure with uniforms; you will never make everyone happy.
Only thing I learned about the Jets new Uniform is that the Jets got a new uniform.

Some people take this uniform business pretty serious. I’ve never been one to fret over that kinda stuff. I’m like, “New uniform? Cool, what’s for dinner?”

Not to diminish the gleam for others of course. We all have our favorite things in life.

Go back to Rebok.

I’ve noticed this very thing. With high def big screens and these unfortunate uniform materials, I now know that a number of players are circumcised and which way they lay their junk.

I never wanted to know that...

It's 100% or more better than the Jets unis...those are gawd awful.

When it comes to numbers, I just want to be able to tell if #16, 18 or 19 caught the ball. It always seems like the various fonts make the 6, 8 and 9 numbers so close that with one wrinkle in the jersey, you can't tell what the number is. The number should be clear.

that's my only beef with it, really.

When it comes to the Rams unis, they better not remove the horns from the sleeves. They messing with something if some millennial designer who's never even heard of Tom Mack, Merlin Olsen, Bob Waterfield, Norm Van Brocklin, Elroy Hirsch, Roman Gabriel, Lamar Lundy, or Coy Bacon... decides to "Jet" us... well, we'll have to get out the torches...
