If this is an inappropriate thread for the subforum, feel free to go ahead and delete it and accept my extended apology for posting it, but...

When I joined here in 2016, it was after being on Clan Ram for 11+ years, ever since July 2005. It was my go-to for Rams information and occasional postings on the forum, as I lurked more than posted. They reformatted their website around that time and out of nowhere I couldn't log in with my username. Even to this day, I still can't log in with my old username (ramstough39) on there! Don't know what happened. Seems like the site rebranded itself as "Rams Nation" now. Sad to see, because I was on there for so many years.

I enjoy RoD, though. It just sucks that I could never get logged back into CR.

If you were/are still a member over there, what happened?

And again, sorry if this was against the rules to ask this question about another Rams site, but I figured I'd see if the same thing happened to anyone else.

I posted there twice the past 12 months. I still appreciate it for getting me into discussion on forums, not just Rams football.

I simply found RoD to be more engaging (no offense CR lurkers) due to moderators allowing raw emotions in the form of cursing and posting PG-13 (sometimes R) content while still maintaining civil discussions for the most part. ClanRam still does have a place in my heart and I know some of the guys here have beef with some of the posters there (not gonna name anyone) but I find them to be insightful.

I enjoyed several years there but really lost interest there because of a handful of posters/mods that really didn't want to discuss things openly they'd just bait people then close the conversations.

I left there in protest. What, with all the hoods, and the torches. The strange obsession with Craig Dahl. Wait, which site was this again?

Honestly, ROD is the best, isn't it? It is good to check out other sites, but then I hear @Prime Time calling, "Supper time, @Farr Be It ! Come on home!"

Avenger Ram was the downfall of the site. Joined Clan Ram in 2007 and loved it till AV started driving people away. I still check the site from time to time but don't post anymore. ROD is my home.

Lol. I think the OP was asking if the site was still around, not why people prefer ROD.
I never heard of it so I’m sorry I can’t help

Another Clan Ram exile here.

I joined them back in 2012 and had 4 good years there chatting and learning from other Rams fans.

Joined here in 2016 and haven't really been back due to the clunky nature of the Forum.

It still seems to be quite active over at Rams Nation / Clan Ram but the format is still the same.

Thanks for the replies, guys. No idea what happened to my account there. I just tried to log in one day after the forum was reformatted (it was the same site style for years) and boom... said it did not recognize my username/password. Thought it was extremely odd since I had not posted anything incendiary/lewd/troll-worthy to get banned. I just chalked it up as some kinks in the site needing to be ironed out. Never was able to log back in, and well, I ended up on here! I was never able to get in contact with an admin or mod there in regards to my account, so I just let it be.

This is a mighty fine site and I'm glad to be here, though! Seems like the forum is well run and I appreciate that. I lurk more than I post, but enjoy it all the same. I wish I had joined years earlier, but Clan Ram was my 'home' for all things Rams since 2005. Before that, I used the forum on the STL Rams site when it was active... wheewwww, that was a trainwreck, if anybody else remembers it. Of course, on Clan Ram, every other week through the years, there was those posters who wrote, "I'm done! I'm done! I can't deal with this front office and this coaching staff putting a poor team out on the field every week! See ya later". Every year, never failed. Lmao. I guess every team (outside of that one squad with the 40+ year old QB...) has 'fans' like that, but always thought it was amusing.

Again, glad this forum is around. Sometimes it almost feels like sports forums are a thing of the past. So much has moved over to social media, particularly Facebook, and I'm not a fan of that ~~ it is too disorganized on sites like that, and the conversations just aren't the same. But I digress.

Didn't mean to write an essay. Just thinking about times over the years.

Been there and done that to. To each their own but you seem to be a bit shaken that you can't go back. Man, got tired of the ego maniac that is Avenger Ram. Honestly, after seeing him at a ClanRam event he has to suffer from little man syndrome and that is not me throwing spite. Literally amazed me..
I was going to give up anything on the internet about the rams and found this site and checked it once in a great while and kept coming back more and more mostly because of X, the attitude on ROD, and it's literally has very in depth information about the Rams etc.

Dude Av is totally
Internet+Warrior.jpg

I helped start a clan with ClanRam that had our own board etc. etc. and then somehow AvengerRam being the control freak he is somehow found it!!! lmao He didn't like those posts much..
Wonder whatever happened to those dudes from Around the Horns, or whatever we called it, they were funny asf!

^ true story.

Remember when he came here trying to push his weight around?

Yea, that's why ROD is smart. I'm the only ego maniac allowed on here, and they don't give me mod powers. ;)

Tried using the "Contact Us" button at the bottom of the page but got hit with the "Sorry, you are not authorized to view this page". I guess I could have created a new account and messaged someone but didn't feel like going through the trouble.
