A CB1 in the 1st along with an ILB upgrade makes this defense legit. And Fannin would be a great addition to the TE room alongside Higs with Adams and Puka at WR.

Honestly would love a stud CB in round 1 (W.Johnson PLEASE) and Fannin in 3rd. Just don't think Fannin is going to get to the end of the 3rd for us.

I wonder how many draft picks the Rams have used on tightends over the 10-15 years

We are set up to take bpa between QB, WR, T, TE or CB. Great place to be.

I don't see us spending that high a pick on RB or LB else they'd be in there too

It won’t happen but I keep dreaming of Jihad Campbell in round 1.
Drafting the best iLB who is an immediate plug & play stud that fixes the run defense would change this D even more so than a CB. I don’t know if that’s Campbell - I know nothing about him. Just saying, that probably helps this team more than a CB.

Campbell has length and range and can also rush the passer. He played some edge in college. I think he’d be a very versatile player for Shula.

I agree that since the emphasis is up front, a top ILB could shore up the defenses biggest weakness.

Free agency doesn't even start for like 3 more days , I wonder what else the Rams have up their sleeves

What I love is they are doing a great job of both going for it now with stafford AND the future with smart cap moves with all the young guys going forward.

Just from the signings it's looking like Snead intends to go heavy at CB in the draft. By that I mean two or three selections at the position.
