I know it was a win, but what an ugly win!

Red Zone: I'll say again this week, this is our achilles heel, I really don't know what the problem is.

Goff: Not his usual accurate self, but I'm putting that down to the weather.

4th Quarter: We just seemed to fall apart, was it fatigue??

I learned that this team has grit. Back to back wins against desperate teams, in inclement weather, in 2 of the loudest and toughest stadiums to play in. These games will hopefully harden this team and pay dividends later in the season. Tough, tough, ugly win. I'll take it.

Injury to Kupp seem to take quite a bit out of the offense, Reynolds is not the same especially his blocking.

Should have stuck with the run more, however, the thin air seem to zap Gurley, Brown was okay, but I thought McVay should have called a few more screens and passes to the backs.

Troy Hill played well against the Seahawks, not so good against the Broncos. Also where is the coverage from Joyner over the top?

Great win on the road in a hostile environment, Broncos only 2-4, but played the Rams and Chiefs very tough at home, plus the weather was cold.

From the stands:

  • Denver’s run defense got absolutely shredded. And it looked even worse from the field.
  • Jared had an off day. Losing Kupp completely deflated the passing game. He didn’t have his security blanket.
  • Woods is a baller. He catches everything thrown his way and runs perfect routes. He ate Chris Harris’ lunch.
  • Marcus Peters had good day. I didn’t see a single pass thrown towards him.
  • Troy Hill was a liability. Every long pass was over him. Luckily Keenum isn’t very good and underthrew all 3 deep passes. Speaking of which...
  • Case Keenum is hated in Denver. He was booed every other play. The Broncos offense was an exact replica of the 2016 Rams. Good play? Nope, holding. Touchdown? Nah, down at the 1 and a 15 yard excessive celebration penalty. Denver had multiple chances to pull ahead and could never take advantage. A lot of it was on Keenum.
  • The cold effected us more then I thought. A lot of injuries because of it. But we gutted out the victory.
  • We won that game by 10. The refs fucked us like I’ve never seen on the last drive. That offsides penalty on Suh was complete bullshit. Even Denver fans were wondering what happened.
  • I love Sean McVay.

This is what drives me crazy about officials nowadays, every call is put under a microscope and debated amongst them. Denver's Guard stood up and Suh reacted and pointed and then some numskull on the crew asks, "Are you sure the DL didn't move first?" "We would look real smart if we called it the other way because it's easy to call the obvious." They should not get paid, that call was a disgrace.

We can slice and dice the win at Denver, but its six wins in a row, period. Six is special to me, somehow because both the 1999 and 2001 Super Bowl contenders started 6-0. Now, we get to go beyond those teams because I think we keep going with the win streak vs. the Niners, unlike 1999 and 2001.

Rams are the best in the NFL, and I don't care what anyone says.

.

i learnt that the rams better play a deep safety that has range. if the broncos had an accurate, strong armed qb the rams would have been shredded like the previous two weeks. i don't know why joyner is late most of the times. maybe he's too slow to play back there, or lacking the urgency required for the position.

i'm guessing the rams will handle the whiners but we'll see what rodgers can do against this secondary. since talib went down and teams seeing the pass rush isn't makng it home they have gone from a short passing game to long bombs here and there. and they almost always hit them.

O line is awesome. 1 sack on the TE, the rest on holding the ball too long (goff) not the line.
Hill maybe could play slot corner, but not outside.

Jamon B stepped up very well.

We need an edge guy who commands some respect. Is it Obo?

I wonder how much a gloved throwing hand affected Goff's accuracy yesterday. Some of those throws were just slightly off-target.

I learned that the Rams can win multiple ways and have some offensive toughness I wasnt sure they had.
Cooper Kupp is more important than I thought.
They will not let an incredible amount of bad calls against them be an excuse to lose.

Must have been something, because he's been pinpoint accurate up till now.

Their 2 wins were in Denver too. And quite frankly should of beat KC, they were up two scores through the 4th. Denver is a different team at home.

I've learned that every week people predict we win by 20 or 30 points raising expectations. Then we win a close game and are suddenly not as good as advertised.

I've learned internet doctors aren't as good at diagnosis as the real deal.

I've learned there is one team left undefeated.

Ive learned over the last two weeks that we can struggle and still come away with wins, the sign to me of a well coached team.

Brown did his usual lunge and let the guy swim right past him on his first play but settled down after that.
Having done actually depth on the OL is nice.
But if Saffold is out for an extended time it is huge blow.
Whitworth and Saffold are devastating on the left side in the running game.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but it's really starting to look like the refs have been mandated to slow us down. Blatant missed calls, horrible spots (why McVay didn't challenge that one is beyond me), bad score reversals taking points away from us, etc.......
