#Rams' record after six games through Jeff Fisher's tenure as HC
2012: 3-3
2013: 3-3
2014: 2-4
2015: 3-3

This team feels a lot different though. If the corner is going to be turned, it'll have to be in game 7

It does feel different this year, because we played such a tough schedule and we're 3-3. I think this is the year where we go on a big winning streak

It doesn't feel different for me. Maybe it's my pessimism, but I don't look for many teams to lose 4 fumbles and commit a ton of injuries every week. We cannot have halves like our offense had in the first half and expect to beat good teams. If the passing attack and blocking become average I'll feel great. Right now we have one guy to stop on offense right now and teams will figure out how to slow him at minimum. This team has great talent, but we are just so horrible on offense outside of Gurley that I remain pessimistic.

I think we should win the next four to go along with the Browns win. And I'm pretty confident we can go 3-1 out of the next four.

I think that just makes you a realist. But our next four games are against borderline bad teams and the Vikings have beaten the lions twice, the Chiefs, and San Diego. Baltimore is the scariest game to me. We've gotta cash in on wins now before we get to those division games

It feels the same so far, every year I sit here and say "if only we can get on a roll we'll contend for a playoff spot" and every year I pull the knife out of my gut and let the dream die weeks later. The Rams have to show me before I'll believe this time. And really I hope they are feeling the same way. They have to prove it to themselves that they are winners before the rest of the world would or should believe. Is this the year?

Still uneasy, but now the Rams have potential to cause matchup problems on both sides of the ball. Haven't seen that in a long time.

I feel a bit better knowing that if we had Gurley all year we would be, at worse, 4-2 and possibly even 5-1. But the passing attack is atrocious and Gurley can't be expected to bail them out every game. There needs to be some PA deep passes to take pressure off of the run game.

Last year we were praying for a 4-2 start or better because the back half of the schedule was the toughest in the league. This year, for the first time in a long time, the schedule gets easier as the season goes on

What's different this year?

The defense came out strong and has maintained/improved each week. If the defense struggled this year like last year at the beginning... well...

So, that's a pretty significant difference.

BUT, what most on this thread have said is true... that offense has simply got to get going... without that, no game is a sure bet.

But they have done that twice and been close one other time.

Mebbe it's the game plan arduno.

Personally, I can't wait for the "Party" we're going to through for him, in a few more weeks, when he comes to town!:shooting::snicker:

Holy smokes, that really puts it in perspective. It's been a while. A really long frustrating while.
