We haven’t exactly looked amazing since his first year. Insane we can’t discuss negatives on this site without the homerism getting overly strong. Like let’s call a spade a spade. McVay is very careful about the image he projects when on camera but I think that there’s another side to him that you don’t want to mess with. Despite being young McVay has been around and he’s smart enough to realize that dudes will take advantage if you let them. You don’t have to scream and foam at the mouth to get your point across. In one of the hard knocks episodes he asked Goff why it was taking so long, at first Goff didn’t understand but McVay kept needling him til he got it that he was being called out and it looked like it pissed Goff off a bit. McVay got rid of well liked members of the team and the staff, I wouldn’t mess with that dude.

Look at that quick conversation he had with Goff. Dude has a really good feel for challenging his guys and it's probably why Gurley was sulking all last season (in addition to the dip in his play). I am sure he had McVay in his fucking ass about breaking runs to the sideline too quickly and missing holes.

I counted the first year as super bowl year oops. But nah he had that amazing year and has been out coached on numerous occasions. It’s cool tho. I don’t want you to get too sassy. So I’ll just agree. Sean just blankly stares when he’s mad.

we’ll see what happens this year. This rosters top heavy With a bad line. We’ll see how good of a coach he is.

Well the RB coach was fired too and he was a guy who was very tight with Gurley. So I don't have any knowledge of what went down but I am guessing there was probably some behind the scenes drama. Because especially in the first half of the season Gurley was leaving some yards on the field that's for sure.

I think McVay is a good example of how it's going to be done in the future. Get in that ass behind the scenes, but to the press and people watching it's all hugs and kisses.
