Hope we get this W. Tough game. I hope they have a good year. I really enjoy having McVay as a coach. Watching him on hard knocks made me a bigger fan. I just wonder if his personality isn’t more set up for an OC than a head coach.

A little too early to be jumping ship if you asked me, this is the toughest division in football and McVay has changed the culture.A little too interesting. McVay is revolutionizing head coaching in my opinion. He has transformed the culture here. I think players want to come here, etc.
Maybe,This is...an interesting take.
he just doesn’t really have much of an edge. This is...an interesting take.
What is an edgeMaybe,
he just doesn’t really have much of an edge.
Payton is edgy, Bill is edgy, Sean McVay seems like he’s everyone’s friend. Hard to maintain authority with your friends. What is an edge
So you don’t like that he has a connection with his players? It seems like it’s worked so far.Payton is edgy, Bill is edgy, Sean McVay seems like he’s everyone’s friend. Hard to maintain authority with your friends.
That is the dumbest thing I will read all weekend, so thank you for getting it out of the way. McVay's "edge" is his intelligence. If you can't see how intense that dude is, then I don't know what to tell you. I know I would be on my game if I was lucky enough to play for that guy. Good luck coming into this organization unprepared. Keep your shit packed morons and Me before We suckers. I love it. Quiet strength.Payton is edgy, Bill is edgy, Sean McVay seems like he’s everyone’s friend. Hard to maintain authority with your friends.
We haven’t exactly looked amazing since his first year. Insane we can’t discuss negatives on this site without the homerism getting overly strong. Like let’s call a spade a spade. McVays been out coached plenty of times by lesser coaches. I didn’t say he was a bad coach. I said it’d be nice to see him show so some fire excited of just gazing at the field in disbelief when something bad happens. That is the dumbest thing I will read all weekend, so thank you for getting it out of the way. Also, Payton and his sphincter of a face are not "edgy", they are punchable. Nothing more, nothing less.

I think you're reading him wrong. McVay isn't public about it but I guarantee you he gets into ass.Payton is edgy, Bill is edgy, Sean McVay seems like he’s everyone’s friend. Hard to maintain authority with your friends.
you mean even in the next year when they made it to the superbowl?
plenty of negatives are discussed here. ludicrous on the other hand is getting called out.
any given sunday. nobody is saying he's perfect.
seriously man? did you see him after the whiners converted their second 3rd and 16 in the same drive to win the game? his face said no player or coach is safe and big changes are coming. then in the offseason the rams totally retooled the team.
.

Look at that quick conversation he had with Goff. Dude has a really good feel for challenging his guys and it's probably why Gurley was sulking all last season (in addition to the dip in his play). I am sure he had McVay in his fucking ass about breaking runs to the sideline too quickly and missing holes.
Well the RB coach was fired too and he was a guy who was very tight with Gurley. So I don't have any knowledge of what went down but I am guessing there was probably some behind the scenes drama. Because especially in the first half of the season Gurley was leaving some yards on the field that's for sure.that was really weird. Does anyone know what really happened with Gurley? Or it is all just speculation still?
