Nobody could get this team playing as hard as it is with absolutely nothing on the line,
Pun? I think so.

X2 on the Letter. I was thinking about writing Spags a letter, telling him that I support him and I'll miss him if he goes.

I know, I don't think anyone from a sports organization has ever noticed anything I did.

Thanks fellas. Just felt like I had to do something. He may not be around next year, and if he does get fired, I'll always believe it was a mistake. But, that won't prevent me from supporting the next hire. I'd understand the desire to get rid of Spags if he had just one NORMAL season (off-season included), without a ton of injuries, and the Rams still came up short. But that just hasn't been the case yet.

2009 - Null and Boller are rotating starts.
2010 - Receiver injuries so bad that we have to trade Wil Witherspoon for Brandon Gibson mid-season (and start him).
2011 - Name a position that hasn't been affected by injuries or guys in their first year here (or both).

That's a lot of junk to deal with. Plus, he has a 4 year contract. I'd like to see him finish it.

Anyway, thanks again.

Actually, that trade happened midseason in 2009. Our top receiver that year was Laurent Robinson, and we lost him after 3 games. Keenan Burton missed half the season. Avery played in every game, but kept getting chipped and missing downs (we had less at WR than 2010). The right side of the Oline was backup city by the end of the season, with a rookie (Roger Allen) at RG and Goldberg at RT. SJ was nursing a bad back that would require surgery in the offseason, and still ran for 1400 yards. For that paper-thin roster, injuries compounded the problem.
