Everett was bad this year and we should definitely let him go.

But prior to this year he was a decent to good player that just didn't get a ton of opportunities IMO. He dropped a ton of passes this year and he had one bad drop in Seattle last year that led to an INT. I suppose we can cite his lack of opportunities as being on him, and that's probably fair.

But that catch and run on 3rd down in the NFCCG and his game winning TD against the Chiefs were marquee plays for the 2018 season. His awful 2020 hopefully motivates him, but I'll always remember those two plays.

They need a Mascot before I can start taking them seriously or just change to Washington, D.C., that works.

Everett would be smart to resign on the cheap.
He has yet to play for a QB that can see the whole field and
deliver consistently to the open man as well as Stafford will.
His numbers will go up and hopefully get paid enough to warrant a comp pick.

Yeah I keep mentioning this but that last game vs Arizona had 24 targets to the TEs. It's a fair point and I think likely that TEs see more action this season because we now have a QB who is more willing to put the ball up for contested opportunities.

As to Everett I think he needs to try to get paid now. Because he's a JAG. All those years of "we need to get Everett involved" was BS. Maybe he grows like Cook did. But I'm done waiting for him. It's time to get Hopkins in there I hope, or maybe they get lucky and Friermuth drops to them I can dream.

That fits.

That I agree with.

In the Arizona game the QB was Wolford. Maybe @Allen2McVay could be right.
