This may have finalized a Brandon Scherff decision on hitting free agency. It may be time to look for a new home ...

Is he much of an upgrade on Heinicke ? At his best probably, but he didn’t finish the season well.

Jimmy G is an upgrade to Wentz IMO. Jimmy behind their OL probably would have gotten the Colts into the playoffs last year. With their run game to support him, Jimmy would make a lot of sense.

So who's in the QB market now?

Pittsburgh
Indy
Houston
Carolina
Tampa
New Orleans
Seattle

I think you can put a question mark on the Giants though they say they're sticking with Jones. Houston probably has a question mark because they seem happy there with Mills.

Who's available?

Watson pending legal stuff and Jimmy G after surgery can be had for a trade. Free agents are Winston, Trubisky, Mariota, Cam, Fitzpatrick, Dalton, Bridgewater, Flacco?, and Brissett though I don't think the last couple are starters add in Dalton to them.

If you can't play QB for Indy with that run game behind you... :laugh4:

I like the deal, but I'm more pro Wentz then most of you. The Commodes have Commode Carson and he's better then what they've had for quite sometime. That being posted, durability always an issue and Wentz has been turnover prone, I'm betting he'll turn it over less in Washington.
