Update on Pete Reiker

Some of you may recall the plea I sent out on the internet a few months ago asking for some emails to Pete to honor him for his loyalty to the team and its fans.

Pete has been moved into Hospice but as of yesterday he has not passed away. His
son and I have exchanged several emails lately about it.

My sense is that the family and Pete had enough to prepare themselves for this
and are as much at peace as people can be.

His son sounds like a truly great guy and a really great son.

The exact same thing happened with my my Dad 6 years ago. My heart goes out to all.

Just lost a very good friend to cancer. My heart goes out to those around Pete and his family. Thanks for being there for him Jim. I know my buddy Dave always got choked up talking to me about it. I know how much it meant to him to have people honestly care and show it.
