Looks like the Browns appreciated our secondary last year.

Yuck to that deal.
Agreed on that with regards to giving him that much. But from our end, that is awesome, and hopefully nets us a fourth rounder in compensation next year.

Appears to be a good payday for him. Good luck.

As last year showed Hill is a system player. Put him in a heavy zone system like Staley used and he can play well. But he will struggle when asked to play man coverage. I don't see him as a critical loss as Ramsey and Williams are the starting boundary CBs.

I can see Everett being a real impact player in Seattle. IMO he simply didn't fit McVay's scheme. Ebukam can be a big signing by the Niners if used properly. He struggled learning a new scheme and position with Staley. The Niners used to run a 4-3 but with their new DC I would expect him to move to a hybrid 3-4. In that scheme Ebukam will shine in that scheme

Hopkins is going to be set up to fill a big part of this offense. This year's draft will show what direction McVay is headed with his offense. IMO Morris is an underrated coordinator. I can see him keeping this defense in the top 5.

So far I don't see any significant losses to this roster.

We are getting thin in our secondary. Why couldn't we offer 4 for 24 6m a year and structured less this year.

Good luck to J.J. Johnson & Troy Hill in Cleveland, where the gales of November came early!

Nice payday for a player who worked his way from essentially obscure NFL camp body to significant piece of a #1 defense. But I’m not heartbroken over this one. He was a nice piece but flawed.

6 mil isn't a lot for a starting CB. Its only a yuck deal cause we got a really yucky amount of money left lol. Either way, probably replacing him via the draft

We are literally going to be that team who showcases players that other teams want to snatch up, because we bring out the best of them.
