Head Coach Jeff Fisher – Post-Practice – November 22, 2012
(On what he’s seen from Arizona QB Ryan Lindley on tape)
“Well, you’ve got the rest of that game. There’s some preseason tape. He’s a good player. He’s got good vision. He’s tall and moves around the pocket well. Atlanta was a tough defense to make your debut against, but with a week of practice, obviously, he can be a concern.”
(On if Lindley has mobility)
“He’s got some mobility, yes. He’s got mobility in the pocket and he’s got good arm strength, too. He made a lot of good throws the other day.”
(On what he liked from CB Trumaine Johnson coming out of college and how he’s progressed this season)
“Trumaine made a lot of plays at Montana. He’s a physical tackler, had really good ball skills, and having athletic ability for a big corner. So, he’s just continued to progress here. He’s doing the things on special teams we’ve asked of him and he’s playing pretty good football in our nickel right now.”
(On how he knows as a head coach when a young player is ready for the next step in regards to playing time)
“Well, young players make their biggest improvement from year one to year two. So, regardless of the learning curve and how they improve now, the significant improvement’s going to be next year.”
