Here is the split at the end of 2020…

Who do you move to the top half, who do you move to the bottom half?

Not a ranking. Just who moves from one half to the other?

So you're asking Booty thread OR Boobie thread? Tough one but I'll go with Booty.

Oh and I'd move the Vikings and Chargers left and the Cards and Bears right.

Swap Bears and Saints with Chargers and Vikings. I can see movement in the rest of the bottom half teams, but it'll be trickier for most of them to take that step. Chargers can take a step with Herbert, and Vikings by virtue of the Bears falling,

Saints wont have Brees and Bears rolling with their rookie will make it a challenge. Saints could fall to the bottom of the top half, but I wouldn't be surprised if they slip into the top of the bottom half.

Let’s call a few surprises…

Down; Dolphins, Bears, Raiders

Dolphins staff gets fired, wastes a year discovering Tua “ain’t it“ and reboots in 2022… Bears because a Dalton injury and too early entry for Fields sends them below .500, Raiders… the Mayock train runs out. They’re stuck with Chucky a while longer.

Up; Chargers, Cowboys, Patriots

Chargers keep moving up with Herbert… Cowboys get Dak back and that’s worth a few more wins, and… Damn it, the Patriots strike gold (a perfect fit for them) with Mac Jones getting opportunity to start early in the season.

Up/Down; If Green Bay trades Rodgers to Denver, flip those teams.

I see that without our defense, we would have been in the bottom half with our PF being under 400

.

I'm not sure why everyone is dropping the saints. Didn't they win most of the games when Brees was out?

Isn't their defense much improved? I don't think they're going anywhere.

I have a feeling the Panthers are going to be improved. I think Rhule is excellent as is his OC Joe Brady. The roster is pretty good to my eye, key is gonna be QB. And I like Darnold, think they are gonna end up with a solid guy under that staff.

Also Hubbard insulates them against CMC getting injured again but if he is healthy they have a nice young backfield.

Think they might end up in the playoff mix.

I'll pick one...the Cincinnati Bengals.

They had 4 wins. Only need to improve 4 more to be 8-8 and in the top half.

Burrow is back and was playing well prior to injury. They have a sweet set of wide receivers adding Tee Higgins and Chase. There oline is now revamped, namely adding Riley Reiff to the line. Last season their defense was hit bad with injuries. They get those players back plus a bunch of FA signings. The D should improve a bit.

Actually, I find it hard to move a team out of the top half. All of them have something going. Maybe the Bears if I had to pick one to drop.

P.S. Maybe 8-9 is top half, with the schedule going to 17 games. Just throwing this out there.
