He better be, we are going to be lightening on the turf!

Yes but that brightness may come from the Defense from the heat put on that Zona OL by the Rams DL lightning strikes. The Rams DL may set an NFL record on SACK totals & pressures by Sunday early evening games end. QB Palmer may retire once again early. I would not be surprised by an epic performance!

I am still real concerned about our Ram OL & it may take some more time for it to settle down and start running smoothly on all 5 cylinders. The Zona defense is a very good early test for them.

They're also in a new system and w/o their best player Daryl Washington.

Relying on a rookie 3rd round pick who hasn't played football in over a year and a rookie 2nd round ILB. Then again so are the Rams (basically) so that's a wash.

The biggest thing here is Patrick Peterson can't cover anyone. It's pretty obvious he'll cover Chris Givens...but who goes for Tavon or Jared Cook? Will that leave Lance Kendricks, Austin Pettis, and Brian Quick? I like the Rams' chances there.

Quite frankly, I didn't think that Peterson did all that well covering Amendola last year. Either he's a tad bit overrated or Amendola is more special that I thought. And I'm a big Amendola fan.

The great equalizer for the Cardinals (or any team) is turnovers. Will the Rams backs and new weapons hold on to the football? That and the team's run defense is my only concern.

I think this is the only way Arizona stays in this game; if we turn the ball over.

We avoid that - we win - and potentially win big.

I'd agree with this with the addition of the short passes over the middle. We don't seem to feel it necessary to defend that play.
