Oh, the players will show up, Bubba.

I hope that they all show up in good health and in excellent condition.

Don't know if it's been allowed to give the players their playbooks, yet. If so, they should have it down pat.

If not, then that's another insane part of the PBA.

I hope Goff found some way of getting his hands on the Redskins' playbook from last year. Maybe had a mysterious package arrive on his doorstep or something lol. Either way him being ready to go is the single biggest piece of the puzzle, so I genuinely hope we start hearing soon how savvy he is this time around on the mental side of things.

Right now these offensive players are beginning to realize what it feels like to have a competent offensive staff preparing them. Good times ahead dudes!

You mean CBA? Or are you thinking about PBR?

I've thought about this for awhile. Seems like the best way was for McVay to suggest to the QB czar that Goff uses, "I'd really love if you teach all your students these concepts" wink wink, nudge, nudge.

Then Goff mysteriously comes up to speed VERY quickly on the new playbook!

@Merlin, you can be sure that a mysterious package disguised as something else was dropped off in Goff's yard.

Nobody can prove it but Jared's neighbor was suspicious about this delivery caught on their camera 4 weeks ago.

Head Coach Sean McVay wears a new "We, not me" shirt. I love it. I hope he gave a shirt to every player on the roster.

Jared Goff: We’re a lot closer than people think

The start of the offseason program for a football team is a time for heavy doses of optimism about what lies ahead in the coming months and Rams quarterback Jared Goff was full of sunshine when he met the media after Day One in Los Angeles on Monday.

Goff and company are getting acclimated to life under new head coach Sean McVay and the quarterback said he hasn’t “heard a bad word” about McVay’s offensive scheme. He also praised the work the team has done in free agency by bringing in left tackle Andrew Whitworth, center John Sullivan and wide receiver Robert Woods while saying the feeling inside the team is better than many outside opinions.

“I think we’re a lot closer to where we want to be than people may think,” Goff said. “We got the players, we got the talent, we got all the pieces we need. It’s just about putting it together now.”

Goff will be a big part of proving himself right. He said he feels more comfortable now than he did upon joining the team a year ago and that the offseason work he’s done with quarterback tutors Tom House and Adam Dedeaux has left him feeling more confident about his game. That will need to translate to the field if April’s optimism is going to mean anything come December.
