Anybody else watching this?

Have no clue where they find the worst people to be a color commentator.

Believe that is former NFL OL Ross Tucker. Has a voice for print.

Not sure if I heard a single good local color commentator in the past few years. Whitworth was actually pretty good last week; and I am not biased because I thought Jones-Drew, Talib and Holt were terrible in past pre-season games.

I get that the NFL Network has to use local announcers in the pre-season becasue it doesn't have enough experienced people. Also understand that it's usually the local announcers for the home team (Eagles tonight). Accept that the coverage is biased for the local team.

However, it's the little things that annoy me (like @Loyal but I digress). One example. is that the starting offense and defense is usually provided ONLY for the home team. So, tonight, I knew the Eagles that started the game but none of the Browns. Annoying ... Like that @Loyal guy.

Ross Tucker is brutal. He sucks off the Eagles every minute of the broadcast.

I think he does college games for one of the networks...or maybe its just radio. He makes regular appearances on local sports radio as their "football expert".

Is anyone else at the point where you don't watch pre-season games anymore? I watched like 5 min of our game last weekend, probably won't watch tomorrow's game, but I'll be at our final game only because I'm taking my son for his bday. I wouldn't be mad if they got rid of PS altogether, but we all know the owners won't allow that.

I only bother watching the Rams. This preseason is more interesting than most for us due to so many young players getting time because they will see the field on Sundays.

I've been lukewarm on them for years but I do tend to watch at least a part of each game. Kind of depends what group I want to see. When the OL concerns me and I want to see depth I will generally endure the entire game.
