Gabe played QB like a linebacker, and had a shortened career because of it. There are many players in the HOF who were nowhere near as valuable to their teams.

I named my dog Gabe after him and we watch Ram games together. He barks like crazy when our team scores a TD or field goal or safety or makes a great play. I love Gabe--both the player and my mongrel dog.

Great job on the podcast.

Roman Gabriel! I see him in my mind...memories of watching games with my Dad, a long time ago.

He’s right about Eddie Meador too; a deserving Hall of Famer. Still leads the Rams in career INT after 40 years.
