It's all so surreal. The Rams are in SoCal, getting ready to play in the stadium where I first saw them in person (1973). They are the toast of the town, with a televised Draft party downtown. We should get used to being lumped into the favorite son teams..The Cowboys, Redskins, Steelers, Jets, 49ers, Seahawks, and now the Rams will be spoken about even when they don't deserve it on ESPN. In St Louis, the Rams won a Super Bowl and went to another, which forced the media to cover them...before and after GSOT, not so much. Yeah, we lost a whole bunch of games...but then so have the Browns, Jets, and Redskins.. It's just a fact that teams located in big cities get more attention because of viewership, almost independent of play on the field.....
But anyways...Hard Knocks is coming in August...The first PreSeason game at the Coliseum will probably be packed because of their official presence and reintroduction to LA. Monday Night Football at Levi vs the hated rivals to the North, with our freshly minted franchise QB Jared Goff throwing for 400 yards (2 TD's) and Todd Gurley rushing for 145 yards (2 TD's). The Niners will be crushed, with Chip Kelly fired at halftime....
