Did any of you hear Casserly say that the only real pick of value that the Rams gave up is next year's first?
His reasoning was the success rate of picks by round. He said firsts have a 75% success rate, second rounders have a 50% success rate and third rounders have a 25%. Success rate. So the only pick they traded of real value is next year's first. The others only have a 50/50 chance of success. That is well worth the best QB in the draft and potential future franchise QB for a decade.
I thought it was interesting be cause it was a little different take on things. From January to April we all view every pick as potential gold. Charlie seems to devalue them a bit and puts a different perspective on things.
