(KPLR) – This Saturday, “The Pulse Of St. Louis,” will take a closer look at St. Louis And The Convention And Visitors Commission’s effort, to market the St. Louis area and attract new business.
St. Louis hasn’t hosted a national political party convention since 1916, even though it was running to host the democratic convention this year.
St. Louis narrowly lost out to North Carolina.
We look into what went wrong and what will the new marketing campaign by the CVC do to attract business?
And does our lower cost of living do anything to attract conventions?
How effective has the commercial blitz been and are restaurants and hotels really reaping the benefits from the marketing effort?
That’s The Pulse Of St. Louis, Saturday on NEWS11 at 7:00 pm.
