Marc Bulger was not bad and I only wish they had given Kurt a full year to recover, liked he had in Arizona, but that was not going to happen. IMO, if Warner does not get the full year and then wears the gloves, his thumb would have always been an ordeal.

Obviously as the Offensive Line deteriorated (sound familiar) Bulger got worse, he is not my least favorite Ram QB of all time as that will always fall to Pat Haden....Glad Bulger is playing golf.

Bulger will always get my respect. I think too many fans fault him for the circumstances around him. Yeah he didn’t play up to his big contract. But the team around him was putrid towards the end.

Bulger drove me crazier than any Rams QB ever. Why you ask? He obviously was talented but his issue was consistency. I have never seen a QB so hot and cold during the course of a game. Seems like every game he would have good or great QT's and total shit QT's. Simply maddening.

lol...So he was the Wendell Tyler of QB's? Tyler drove me insane, swinging that ball away from his body. He'd run a ball almost 50 yards near the goal line, and some defender would punch it out. My gut would clench every time he got the ball!

Certainly never again played at the same high level after earning that big contract.

Getting a big contract and following up it with a sub par season(s) seems to be an all too frequent occurrence in today's NFL.

MARTZ definitely knew how to coach QBs.
Late round guys like Warner, Bulger, Trent Green and Fitzpatrick all were coached by Martz.
Even guys like Jamie Martin had good careers.
I think Warner is the exception to your list. Warner was really good on the practice squad in 1998, and Martz had to ask who he was at Rams Park, and then Warner was shortly the starting QB when Green went down in Pre-season. Warner was Warner before Martz.

The only right answer was Kurt should have never been traded, but given time to heal. That was my thoughts then and now.

Bulger wasn’t bad, he just suffered from being after Kurt and. His shorty coaches calling a scheme to keep him somewhat upright and o-line talent.

Sadly Mark’s NFL career died of Bulgeritis!

AND SHAME ON YOU FUCKERS! The Rams most pathetic and most feustrating QB of all time was f’n Tony Banks! That was a total calamity! Smh
