Name that WR?

Sorry, but I just don't get it. Watch college film and tell me he's only good for one route...

Cmon you need to give more info than that

I agree it just does not make sense that he only got one target yesterday and only 7 plays in total

And yet - let's not play him in the preseason because god forbid - he gets hurt

It's an issue and at this point I'm not sure if it's TuTu or McVay and his offensive staff for not scheming for him. Dude seems like he can be a weapon for sure.

Ironically, I think it's the decimated OL and the lack of TE depth that is keeping Atwell on the bench.

Because of deficiencies in OL and TE, McVay has gone mostly with a bigger receiver group to make up for the lack of physicality on the line. Skow in particular has eaten into Atwell's time. Having Skow in the game is almost like a two TE set. I'm not saying I agree with it, but I think that's the thought process behind it.

That said, the offense is plodding and predictable. McVay drafted Atwell (and picked up DeSean Jackson the same year) to add an element of speed. You know you need speed McVay. Play the kid. Build some plays around him. Have him stretch the field and tie the defense up defending him. What's the worst that can happen? A loss?

Why we go after a toy like that and not build our o-line up just baffles the shit outta me. Yes I know injuries are bad this year but if you really want to air it out with a QB that isn't considered a running threat, one would think o-line would rank higher on being targeted in the draft and/or free agency to make that unit way more solid.

The reason why Tutu isn't used more is because Mcvay knows Stafford does not have the time to wait for him to get down the field. He'll get sacked 9 times out of 10. JMO

I ever-so-politely disagree.

McVay doesn't "know" this, because about 1/2 of the TOTAL ATTEMPTS (with this depleted OL) were successful for an average of about 60 yards each. He may "think" it, he certainly doesn't "know" it.

McVay also may "think" that he can only run deep, but his college tape shows he can be successful on most if not all routes. Especially curls taking advantage of the cushion DBs give him. Think the Raheed scheme against Tutu, eating up 10-15 yards at a time on the sidelines.

McVay also may "think" he's too brittle. Again, why not test it out? He's a football player and everyone should have known this risk going into the draft.

So again, I'm completely perplexed by this.

Lol, yes I get that despite you apparently making all the letters CAP so I can envision someone yelling at their phone or computer. Never was a fan of his so excuse me if I criticize it. We relied on someone with injury concerns early in his career. Not a smart move for a young future starter. However, please read that I said offensive lineman and not specifically anyone. We aren't just swimming in o-line talent so it's fair to judge our moves. It's what fans do. Doesn't make me like the Rams less or more.

The most ridiculous stat?

The global rate for washing hands after using the toilet is under 20 percent.

THATS ridiculous!

:D
I try to be overly efficient by using the same soap to wash my hands, crack, genitals and face. For those of you in disgust, don't worry, the soap usually just forgets after a minute or two the last place I just washed myself.

Really? Allen was hurt in 2020 when they drafted Tutu in 2021. They weren't even sure that Allen would be okay in 2021 so they tried Colbett at center in the preseason. That didn't work out. Thank god that Allen made a miraculous recovery in 2021.

Tutu is averaging more that 23 yards per TARGET. So all we gotta do is TRY to pass him the ball, and we average 23 yards per attempt!

There, offense fixed, you're welcome

.

i'm at my wits end at why they don't use tutu more in the passing game. he's shown he can catch a ball so it can't be because he has the dropsies. he gets open so it can't be that.

we're left to watch ben skow floundering out there dropping everything thrown his way. the ball has to hit him in the chest otherwise it will be a drop.

can't believe what i'm watching sometimes.

One play on the highlights, we faked the jet sweep to Tutu, and then ran to the left. We picked up a nice gain, but he could have ran alllll day if we had actually handed him the ball.

The problem is McVay is just not using him.
