derrrrrrrrrrrp!!!!!!

i'm a little embarrassed to post this video but it shows how most of the world thinks of the rams right now, including a fair few around here.

it's obvious he didn't spend much time doing any research on the team.

McCutcheon is our #3 WR? I didn’t know that. Did anybody else?

Seriously, the situation was a bit overstated. We aren’t even the worst team (on paper) in our division. How can we be the worst team in the NFL?

This guy is a good example of jumping on an obvious situation (Rams took their lumps last year and jettisoned a lot of players for this season) and ramped it up. It’s easy to do when you attach yourself to a common narrative but want to sound like you’re bringing something new to the table.

So the Rams don’t enter the 2023 season like they’re the king of the mountain—they have limped into a season with a LOT less talent before. Regardless of record, I wouldn’t predict as many embarrassing games as last year.

Pretty fair video.

You have to ask “is a fan(atic) or a sports writer more biased?

I’m all for the optimism but I feel like some are having a hard time seeing reality through their optimistic fan lens.

Media is sleeping on our offense, though LT looms as a potential problem area. Still... I expect a strong offense. Top half in scoring. Top ten if LT is good.

Defensively though we are definitely hoping for a lot of shit to go our way. Could be ugly. But it was ugly last season so the changes the Rams made were smart. Getting out from under Ramsey will prove to be very shrewd.

As with most debates in the world it's likely in the middle somewhere and how I tend to view it. I think fans over value some players while media or people not in tune with the Rams beyond the stars under value a lot of our players. If our star power stays healthy for most of the year and a few young guys take a step I think we have a good chance to get to playoffs. I think our oline is a lot better than people give it credit for if we don't have a hellstorm of injuries like last year to it.

I was looking today at Rams roster and depth chart, only two rooks expected to start, Avila on offense and Young on defense, other players all on roster last season

I hope the rest of the league feels the same way. This will just increase the surprise factor.

IMO Young is the real deal. I honestly believe he's going to be an impact edge for the Rams even as a rookie. The only question in my mind is will they keep Hoecht opposite him or will they opt for Hampton or Mathis? I have always love Hoecht but I've always saw him as a 3T and thought he was a good fit behind AD as his rotational backup and eventual starter. I wouldn't be disappointed if they keep Hoecht at edge but you have to wonder how much impact would Hampton have at that position. It would give them very good speed off both edges. I could see them playing Hoecht on passing downs and Mathis on early downs where they would want him to set a hard edge in the run game.

I've never been a fan of Kier Thomas, who IMO brings little if anything as a pass rusher. He lacks the quickness to play in coverage IMO. I think Mathis was drafted to replace Thomas.

Yeah this Bozo obviously has no clue regarding the reality of the Ram's roster. The offense is intact and vastly improved IMO with Nuca, Avila and Evans. Hell even Atwell looks better and more like the player they expected when he was drafted. This is a better team than the media bozos realize.

So who are our projected front 6 (with a nickelback)?
I’m seeing Donald, BB3, and Hoecht along the front with Young and EJones at MLB. Who am I missing?
