Hmm, can I get a link to the radio broadcast and listen while I watch the game on Sunday Ticket? I wouldn't mind listening to a Rams radio broadcast instead of the TV team.

This is a classic rock station correct? Are they going to be doing more talk/sports stuff as well or only the games?

IMO the shittiest deal about the whole move is losing our game announcers Farr and Savel. Those dudes where a very good team to listen to.

New LA Rams Find Broadcast Home at KSPN and KSWD (100.3/The Sound)

(May 21, 2016)

To the best team in America:

After an understandably long process the Los Angeles Rams have made a decision on their broadcast partners. In partnership with ESPN 710, 100.3 will be the exclusive FM home for the Los Angeles Rams pre-game, in game and post games. 100.3 will be the first Los Angeles FM station to carry NFL football, ever! We are so proud to be part of sports history and serve our community in this way. We are looking forward to many more Southern Californian’s finding 100.3 on their FM radios.

We are also so very proud to be partnering with ESPN 710 and their great brand. With ESPN’s sports expertise, our 1.7m listeners (soon to be larger) and our signal strength reaching deep into San Diego so many more Southern Californians will be listening exclusively to their new team on 100.3 Congratulations to our entire team as I am so proud of who we are, what we stand for and everything we have accomplished over the years. I know the rumors are on the streets. They are true. A major NFL franchise, who took presentations from everyone, chose us. We are so proud to be able to deliver this exciting news to you. I am also so proud to be working with all of you and watching how all of you handle the highs and lows of business over the years. Congratulations to all of you! More details to follow. For your eyes only until the official announcement.

The games and the pre and post game shows are going to be on a FM station (the Sound-100.3), so the signal strength is going to be a lot better than a AM station. According to "the Sound's" VP, the stations signal is heard deep into SD.

I still feel cheated. I want coverage that supercedes most everything else during the day, especially during football season. I'm listening to 100.3 right now and it seems like we are gonna only hear music up to an hour before kick off every week, and an hour after the game..And 710 ESPN? We'll get a few tidbits in between unending Lakers cr@p coverage......:wtf:

Maybe they'll throw more Rams in there now, and 103 will be the games.

I'm going to miss listening to the St. Louis shows during the week and that Bandanda's commercial.

I'll miss Steve Savard's commentary, he was always fair and informative on both sides.

I second that, especially when Dick Stockton's commentating our games. Dude needs to retire, his awareness is atrocious.

Savard and Farr deserve shots with the major networks IMO. They would be much better than several of the scrappy announcers that the Rams get stuck with each week.

I tried this at home with college games. The radio broadcast is ahead of the television feed. So you hear what happens about 30 seconds before you see it. With the Penguins games the internet radio app for kdka is 30 seconds behind the tv broadcast. Is there a way to sync them?

Isn't it possible that the new station could employ Farr and Savard to be the game announcers?

I think they go with a couple of LA guys and I would not be shocked if they have a former Los Angeles Ram too like Eric Dickerson or Vince Ferragamo or even Jim Everett. I really liked what Andrew Siciliano brought to the table, but IMO, they will get a play by play announcer synonymous with Southern, California.

I remember not too long after the Rams announcement of the move, that Farr was supposed to be involved with the broadcast somehow in LA...I have not heard of anything since, so mybe whatever deal there was, fell through.?

I'd prefer the guys that have been closely following the team for the last few years. If they go with an old Ram they better make sure he can actually do the job. Commenting on air about sports is not something that just anyone is good at. Holt is not very good at it for example
