I saw this article earlier in the week... it's interesting to see how the halftime has morphed into the spectacle it is today.

As much as I hate to admit it, the New Kids On The Block probably were the first artist to really shift the show.

Lots of great performances, but Prince... in the rain... amazing.

Amazing guitar work, of course. Signature Prince. How nobody slipped in those shoes, I have no idea. Lol.

Uhhhh....i'm pretty sure Bono showed up with a band. Lol.

The story behind this is great.

He was no garden variety entertainer, he was a premium badass.

My wife would have loved that show - she was a huge NKOTB fan in school - not so much the middle-aged, overweight and balding comeback though...

Can't say that I've really watched any of them... more into drink, grill, chill, 2nd half...
So, the only women to appear twice at halftime were Beyonce and Carol Channing.
