If you’re like me, you like to represent with a Rams jersey every time the team is playing. With the recent departures of fan favorites Chris Long, James Laurinaitis, and even young studs Rodney McLeod and Janoris Jenkins, it might be time to do some shopping for the new season.
So, here’s our top-10 jerseys that you absolutely should consider locking up before the start of the season.
10. William Hayes
The Rams signed Mr. Hayes to three-year deal, which means you should jump on getting his jersey.
9. Pharoh Cooper
This guy has all the makings of a fan favorite. His name is also Pharoh, and he has been one of the more talked about Rams this summer. Do yourself a favor and jump on the Cooper jersey bandwagon now.
8. Mark Barron
He’s back, and back for five years to be exact. Barron has revitalized his career with the Rams and now he will team up with Alec Ogletree to form one of the most athletic linebacker duos in the NFL.
7. Tavon Austin
You just got reassurance that the former 2013 No. 8 overall draft pick is going to be a Ram until after the 2017 season, as the team picked up his fifth-year option. He’s one of the flashiest players and is soon to break out and become a star.
6. Trumaine Johnson
The only reason he is so far down this list is because he didn’t sign a long-term deal this offseason and could be a free agent after the season. Still, there should be optimism that he’ll return, and he’s also one of the best young cornerbacks in the league.
5. Robert Quinn
Remember when Robert Quinn was forcing fumbles in what seemed like every game? That Quinn will be back this year, as he is almost fully recovered from his back injury, which slowed him down in 2015. You may already have this jersey, but just in case you don’t, better add it to the collection now.
4. Alec Ogletree
Ogletree is your new starting middle linebacker after almost a decade with Laurinaitis. Go and snatch up that jersey now, and back up your new middle man.
3. Jared Goff
It doesn’t even matter if he doesn’t start immediately. Investing in a Goff jersey is just something you should do. The Rams invested big in Goff, so why not do the same?
2. Aaron Donald
When it is all said in done, we could be looking at the greatest Ram ever. It’s still early, but it’s definitely not too early to wear the No. 99 this season. Donald is arguably one of the best players in the league, and who doesn’t want that jersey?
1. Todd Gurley
I love Donald, and while he is probably the better player currently, Gurley is the most marketable. Gurley is also being bumped into the picture as a possible player who could replace Kobe Bryant as the next star of Los Angeles.
