You can't edit the thread title
Must not be able to edit thread title or delete original post of a new thread ?

Think we have a timer set on the edit period, but would have to look into that. Was the title you wanted to edit an older one? Or did you test a quick edit?

You can edit title for 45 minutes. We lock it down from there to avoid confusion by edits on active threads.
The edit button is in the upper right, of the topic box, after creating your topic.

It was like just two minutes after I posted the new topic
It's in the Off Topic Forum
I posted a new thread titled , "Fantastic Four Teaser Trailer"
As soon as I posted it , I noticed I miss spelled the word "Trailer " and went to edit it real quick to correct my spelling error , and was unable to edit the topics title
Now I could edit the context of the post , just not the title , the option to delete it wasn't there as well , but if I replyed to the original post , I could delete that , just not the original post
So it must have something to do with editing the post of a new topic
It was no big deal , like I said , I just tried to correct a spelling error in new topic title and there wasn't an option to edit the title , only the context
