Did anyone else like me worry that when they scored they would go for 2?
I couldn't believe Michaels and Collinsworth didn't even bring it up. At the time I thought it would be lethal. In hindsight we still could have done what we did like KC and won on a FG but at the time I was happy to see Brady leaving the field after they scored.

PTSD is a real thing. Thanks for triggering it.

I was a raving mad man lunatic when TB scored....and I was convinced they'd go for 2 as well. The only team stopping our offense that day was us and I couldn't see them letting a coin toss decide the game.

My blood pressure stabilized somewhat when they brought the point after kicking team out.

I think Tampa, being at home was willing for OT since they had the momentum. Also, if they missed it...it was game over.

They were also out of timeouts if I remember right ... so if they missed, the Rams could have done one kneeldown and still won.

No.
I thought it was too risky for TB.
Apparently, that' what Areans thought as well.

Never thought they would go for two being at home and the momentum on their side.

A lot of us were thinking OT and a lot of us probably had a sick feeling that we’d seen this movie before. They were probably feeling pretty good about their situation.

I definitely thought they would have won had they done that. But I kept my fingers crossed and kept chanting "Too risky!", "Too risky!".... it seemed to work thankfully.

if I was them I would have played for OT because even if we had won the toss, we probably would have just fumbled the ball to them and they could then win with a field goal.

Yeah - why give yourself a extra chance to loss.OT would have been interesting if The Rams don’t score a FG.
If I saw Tom Brady telling Arias to go for it then I’d been worried.Hard player to stop when he is feeling it.

I really waited to see what McVay did because I thought there was enough time to get down the field. When the 1st down play happened I thought it was a busted play. Then Stafford went to work with Kupp. I was content, and the rest is history.

Thank goodness they didn't go for two.

When they scored that tying touchdown, my wife screamed "FUUUUCCCKKK!!" and spilled her decaf coffee all over the floor. As for me, I was too shell shocked to speak.

Maybe she yelled FUUUUUCCCKKK! because her coffee was decaf?
It's like drinking non-alcoholic beer.
