just curious as to how any calories he consumed throughout the day.

I usually burn about 3k a day at work, and that is on the days I dont run and take in around 5k

I used to live in Seattle I know the area that he was in. In my 30's I was in the best shape of my life as a avid back country hiker. But there is no way I could do something like that. All that biking was for a purpose beyond simply building endurance. Rapp has been criticized by his poor timed speed. That kind of leg work will increase his speed as well as his endurance. I bet he's at least a 4.6 or 4.5 runner now. Good thing he waited to train like that because he wouldn't have dropped to the Rams. His style of play reminds me of watching a young Weddle. Eric was a technician who was extremely good at play recognition even before the snap he knew what was coming more times than not. Rapp is that kind of player. He's got the mindset and work ethic that is off the charts. He's going to be one of the best safeties in the game if he keeps this up.

They’re bib shorts. They are more comfortable than traditional cycling shorts as there is no waistband to pinch or roll.

Gotta be careful of not having a shirt, tho. When I was training for triathlon, I went out and ditched the shirt because it was so hot... got nearly 3rd degree burns on my back. The skin didn’t just blister, it liquefied. Was gross... lost a few t-shirts as the skin would bond to the shirt. Yeah...

Was a blessing, tho as I was a workaholic and had to miss a week of work, spent it all with my daughter who passed away not too long after. I’ll always treasure that time.

Sorry... anyway, yeah, they look silly, but they MAD comfy and if you’re gonna spend all those hours on the bike, you better believe that fashion means squat compared to comfort...

I like they he was using a heart monitor as well. That’s a ton of great data over a statistically significant period of time.

I need to get a better bike or better tires or something, I make it about 5 blocks before I feel like I'm getting so much drag I'm working 5 times as hard to go the same distance.

Or maybe I'm just really out of shape.

nice info Mack - minus the liquid skin :D - but doesn't he have shorts on?
does that not defeat the purpose?

Oh to be young with unlimited energy.

But can we get someone to chill our safety out a tad. We need him alive for Sunday’s.

125 miles biking (103 in one ride), 1.25 miles swimming, 4 miles hiking, 3 miles running, a short workout, and 7,300 feet of elevation later, #10kcaloriechallenge completed

I couldn't do 1/10th of that.
In a week.

so wait..how did he manage to get 93k steps in if he was on a bike for 18 hours?

my highest step count is like 45 k, and that was after a 15 mile run, and then sat on the beach for the rest of the day
