He's fast and shifty that's for sure. Short though, very short. Think he's best used as a return specialist and in the slot. Personally I think I'd rather a big physical guy.

we could do with a return specialist to give Amendola a break - also we need a sure backup - Smith hasn't worked out his year, either he's not the same player since his injury, or he and Sam can't find a groove....

Agreed. Although we may face an unfortunate reality of a WR corps sans Amendola if we lose him in FA, in which case we may need a guy like Austin.

I like that Austin has a history at RB. Makes him a small shift guy that isnt afraid of contact. More like Percy Harvin than Desean Jackson.

This guy is a play maker and (if we're lucky) we can get him later in the 2nd round. Will probably have to be a trade down for a higher pick in the 2nd though.

I want receivers who can get open and make things happen. I'm not really that impressed with this draft class of WRs to be honest. Considering the success Amendola has in this offense with Sam, I think Austin would excel.

His height is a knock, but he won't be playing on the outside. Ever. More of a knock to me is WV offensive scheme. However, he sees his fair share of different routes in it, and doesn't look raw in the least running them. He get's open, and when he gets the ball, look out.

I would love to have a big physical wide out who can make things happen, but to be honest he isn't in this draft imo. Da'rick Rodgers, Terrance Williams maybe?

I liked Allen before the injury, but not for our first person off the board. Now after the knee. Ehhh... I can't do this again (Alexander.)

We'll see I guess. It's early. Would be nice if there was a AJ, or Julio out there. Not seeing one though. FO is gonna have to do their homework.

I see Givens turning into a fucking animal in the next 2 years btw if he stays healthy. Sam is getting comfortable with him. Even outside of the deep stuff. This guy can run routes and get open. That's something I like in wide receivers  .

I'm all for the Rams getting a true return specialist that can improve our field position with some kind of regularity. It's a secondary need for sure but still a need.

It can have a huge impact on morale... and it's something we've been lacking for a while now.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak

That game was unbelievable. That was really the first time he saw a significan number of snaps at RB.

He is a playmaker. A space guy. Reminds me of a Percy Harvin or maybe a thicker Dexter McCluster. He is probably a early second rounder. If we re-sign DannyA Im not sure the FO targets him.

Good call Username. Thx Les. :tooth:

FUCK YEAH I'M SO READY BROTHASSSS!!! Can't wait to see what they draw up for him!
