Hey guys,

So, I’m looking on StubHub to purchase tailgate parking for the upcoming playoff game. The cheapest ticket I can find is $200 in Lot 6, which according to the Rams website allows tailgating. However, as I scroll down, I see that the price for Lot 6 goes up and notice a “tailgating permitted” footnote when I click on the more expensive tickets. My concern is that certain sections within these lots allow tailgating while others don’t. Do any of you know if this is the case, or should I be ok to get my drink and eat on anywhere in Lot 6?

Former ST holder in 2016 here. Lot 6 allows tailgating. Just be prepared to be crammed in there and have a small footprint directly around your car. The earlier you arrive, the better. Besides that, you can grill, drink and listen to music. Party on and enjoy!

You can beat some of the line into the lot if you come from the Hoover side instead of MLK. If you get there 20-30 minutes before the lot opens you can wait on a side street and go line up 5-10 minutes before the lot opens. People will still be able to make left or right turns so you won't be blocking traffic. You'll see other Ram fans doing the same thing with tailgate gear.

All the lots are crammed now that lot 2 is closed (because of the renovations). Lot 6 is the loudest and most raucous for sure. We've been tailgating every game since the return. But we are now ready to throw in the towel. We are so tired of the constant rule changes and harassment by the attendants and CHP. It has gotten less and less fun for us. So now, we might occasionally tailgate but we're looking at eating and drinking at either LA Live or the new Rest/Bar between the new soccer stadium and the Coliseum. For Saturdays game it will be both La Live and then the stadium! N'joy!

** along with @ramfan46 we would suggest his option or parking in the HUGE parking lot next to McDonalds on the corner of Figueroa and Martin Luther King about 20 mins before the lots open, so about 12:40pm Sat. Then have someone walk down MLK towards hoover. As soon as cars are allowed to que up that person calls you and you make the quick left onto MLK from Fig. Making sure you stay in the far right hand lane ;)

I wonder...will the new stadium parking allow tailgating? I was always amazed that there was little to no area for tailgating (per those who went to games) around the Ed...

From what the rep was telling me during the season ticket buying process for the new stadium, there WILL be tailgate parking. What she couldn't say was the volume of it (because everything wasn't finalized with lot designs)

@ramfan46 and @LARams_1963, thanks for the advice! I seriously appreciate your help. LARams_1963, I’m sorry to hear about the rule changes and such. I hope you enjoy your time at LA Live. Go Rams!

How does tailgating work (I’m Australian)? If you don’t drive and you just want to experience the event?
