Yeah I saw this on a YT video yesterday. It's weird how under the radar we are. I think people are overestimating the effect of the loss of AD vs. our improvements.

Odds aren't based on true perceived probability, they're based on liability. I.e. if lots of people bet on the cowboys their odds are shorter (to protect bookies from bigger liabilities) regardless of how likely they are to win.
