I agree with Smith but what is up with him constantly attacking Baker? It's getting to be a bad look. You've said your piece. Move on. He really went after Baker after the OBJ trade too.

I never liked the pick by Cleveland. For the same reasons I didn't like the cardinals pick. I hate short QBs and DBs. There are always exceptions to my rule, but why take the chance. Especially the 1st over all. At least wilson was 3rd round and wouldn't have crippled them if he sucked. 1st over all is stupid.

Just another young QB who has a long way to go and might not ever get there. No need to blame it all on him though. There is plenty of blame to go around in Cleveland and start at the top.

I actually liked those commercials. And I think most commercials are dumb.
Honestly hate them and the State Farm (with Rodgers and Mahomes) and Liberty Mutual commercials. Baker comes off as a total douche, to me.

I was dead wrong about Mayfield. I thought he’d mature and develop into a good QB.

At least I didn’t endorse anyone picking Johnny Manziel.

Damn, Memento. We can’t agree on insurance commercials or baseball teams.

Good thing we got the Rams.

That’s okay! We have the Rams, and that’s good enough for me, IE!

You know it's hard time in Seattle when Hawk fans dream of getting Baker...I shyte you not!

Of course, I'm encouraging them to DO IT!

yeah...I switched insurance companies when I felt like I no longer wanted to pay for Rogers and Mahommes...almost like switching to Jimmy Johns from subway due to Brady and Dion...

Agreed. I hated him when he first came into the league. Then he seemed to settle down in last 2 years but deep down he is a hot head with mediocre talent which he would never admit. Move on Cleveland. He won’t get you into the playoffs consistently.

I sure didn't. He was such a jerk at OU I didn't think he had a chance. Couldn't stand him.

Then I kind of changed my mind. He did seem to mature out of that jerk stage.

Just goes to show you people really never change.

Baker has made the most of his opportunities, he’s made a bunch of money as the #1 pick and got himself a sweet commercial gig, but he’s never been elite. As we’ve seen being a high pick is no guarantee, Goff, Wentz, Mayfield maybe Murray too. Mayfield was a product of Lincoln Riley and the OU program which was the class of the big 12, Mayfield benefited from usually having better teammates, he had time to throw, his guys were wide open, he got extra possessions. Now his deficiencies are being exposed and exploited and the brash swagger has nothing to back it up.
He’s undersized and if you’re small you need speed or a big arm or both, he has neither. He needs a team that doesn’t require too much from him, like the patriots.

Tell you what... I wouldn't mind Mayfield as a backup QB. :laugh4:

Cleveland Browns doing Cleveland Brown things for years. The Short Buses are parked in the GM and HC spots.
