Apparently on the podcast his ex-teammates were trying to convice him to go to the Rams

"Former Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman Warren Herring, a host on the show with Gilmore’s former New England Patriots teammate James White, urged Gilmore to join the Rams.

“Come over to LA. We like you in the blue and gold. You did it to us once. Now, get us one. You owe us one. Come on, dawg,” Herring told Gilmore, referring to the Patriots’ Super Bowl victory over the Rams following the 2018 season."

I would be interested but hope it's not a Tredavious White kind of deal.

No we don’t need help at cb … only reason rams went after Ramsey was because he was familiar we str8
Interesting Take, currently here are the Rams CB's not counting Lake who does play in the nickel.

Ahkello Witherspoon....Best CB on roster and will get his chance to be top dog.

Darious Williams...Seem to struggle last year, maybe not 100% healthy, looking for a bounce back year.

Cobie Durant...Though he be but little, he is fierce...Needs to stay healthy and be on the field more.

Emmanuel Forbes, Jr...Everybody's darling this year, would be great if he stepped up.

Charles Woods...Good on special teams, need to see more in preseason.

Derion Kendrick...Maybe he will be better at half the price.

Josh Wallace...Good in zone coverage and they trusted him last year.

Cam Lampkin...He fits in with Kendrick & Wallace and his 4.66 forty time.

A.J. Green...Bigger CB at 6'2 will get more of a look at him in preseason.

Shaun Jolley...They seem to keep him around, however, not durable at all.

Only if Kendrick gets cut (and not re-signed again) as a result.

You know, the defense as a whole played pretty darn good down the stretch last year. And the secondary was part of that. So just how bad are they?

Can never have enough good CBs.
Agree...and I have been keeping an eye on Gilmore since the 2nd wave of FA. He had seemed to be solid the last few years whenever I saw him play.

Guessing his asking price is too high for teams right now, considering many teans could use a solid vet CB. So it will come down to will he take a vet min type deal with significant incentives built in? If he does then it might be worth signing him. Can't hurt.

Rainbows and unicorns. So many "IFs." And generally most IFs aren't going to come home for you in a given season.

The best corner on this roster is our pass rush. If it wasn't for that, I'd be depressed looking at our secondary.

Nothing was really wrong with the Tre White deal though. We took a shot in the dark and missed. No huge multi year consequences stemmed from that deal.

There was a report saying the Rams tried to sign Chidobie Awuzie in free agency. So, I’m guessing they agree with you, that the unit could use an upgrade.

Blue Font is for sarcasm. @Allen2McVay uses it the best IMO.
