The Stafford family's weekend in Arizona took a scary turn.

On Jan. 11, Kelly Stafford—who shares 7-year-old twins Sawyer and Chandler, as well as daughters Hunter, 6, and Tyler, 4, with NFL quarterback Matthew Stafford—posted a photo from the hospital.

"Last night was long," Kelly wrote on Instagram Story along with a photo of two of their kids in a hospital bed. "Back in beds and sleeping, everyone except Hunter. Feels like she drank a Celsius."

In a follow-up post, Kelly—who tied the knot with Matthew in 2015—shared a picture of their kids walking alongside the NFL player.

"Before that tho," she noted, "they were all smiles getting to go with daddy on his work trip."

Matthew's team, the Los Angeles Rams, traveled to Arizona this week to face off against the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL's Jan. 13 Wild Card game, which was relocated from Inglewood's SoFi Stadium to Glendale's State Farm Stadium amid the ongoing wildfires in Southern California.

And while Kelly didn't share more details about their kids' hospitalization, she recently revealed that some of their family, herself included, had been sick.

Also - hard to know if Kelly is the type of parent who takes the kids to the hospital with a runny nose or only if the kids are on death’s door

I should also mention / the story didn’t say flu - that was me reading between the lines - which I shouldn’t have. Wish I could edit the title.

If you don’t write for the hallmark corporation, you missed your calling.

She didn’t put out a press release - she posted what was going on in her life on social media like millions of other people do. Now - there is a case to be made that social media is bad for the world - but that is for a different thread.

Millions of people the world over post their personal lives on social media. Why shouldn't she?

It seems strange to me to dislike someone over that.

In the age of social media there are a lot of people who like to keep up with well known people through that social media. Rams have a lot of fans who like her content because a lot of it in involves her husband. But hey, the great thing about this country is you don't have to read it. And you still get to complain about it.

I have a friend who reminds me a lot of Matt Stafford. He’s intelligent, works hard, soft spoken and a true leader. Oddly enough, his wife reminds me a lot of Kelly Stafford.

Some spouses are attracted to partners whose coattails they can ride to become relevant.
