So here I go way out on this limb…

Rams O is gonna score some points this season. They will catch some teams unprepared early on, I think.

Stafford is healthy and looking super sharp plus he has weapons everywhere this year.

RB room will be a team strength this year and Akers will have a career year.

Rams OL will finish in upper half of league this year, maybe better, with an emphasis on physicality.

Rams OL will look like this come opening day:

Jackson
Avila
Shelton
Anchrum
Hav

Everybody else is competing for swing or backup positions.

Hopkins will likely be a pleasant surprise this year.

WR pecking order will be Kupp, Jefferson, Nacua/Atwell/Robinson (as a rotating 3rd WR corps indefinitely), Skow will be 6th and final WR on the 53.

Ernest Jones will have a breakout year and possibly Pro Bowl mentions.

CB starters will be Witherspoon, Durant, and Tomlinson and they will improve weekly and be a team strength by November. Gonna get lots of ints along the way.

Fuller and Yeast will be starters come opening day but that might well change as backups progress. IOW, Fuller may lose his starting status by mid season.

Ethan Evans will make the Pro Bowl as punter.

Rams will win 9 games, maybe more, and McVay will be selected as Coach of the Year.

I think our DBs will be a strength, but they’ll still get exposed because of our lack of pass rush and run D up front. Hoping we add somebody.

Rams OL is a liability. Offense cannot find any rhythm at all due to poor run/pass protection. Rams offense averages 19 PPG, and that is helped by garbage time late scores.

Rams defense struggles to get pressure... Even with blitz packages. Secondary is scrappy, but undersized and a step late due to inexperience. Games start to get away from them due to inefficient offensive play. They give up 28PPG in a growing year. We can only hope to have drafted some futire starters.

I'll be generous and say 6 wins. Also....

I hate myself for this. I hope I eat so much shit on here in January for this stupid post.

Rank O 28th and D 29th last year. I think this will be a better year. Defense was pretty bad last year and only allowed under 20 pts per game. So do you think they will do worse? If QB and WR remain healthy, I think we have a better offense than last year.

If McVay still likes Skow as his swiss army knife I can see him on the roster come September. Akers could use an extra blocker and he can be like a fullback.

As far as how many wins? Its hard to say because while there are always teams who underachieve, there's also teams who overachieve. I don't who will be the disappointments and surprises. Based on what I think teams are like I count 8 wins as a possibility.

They have a really tough start to the season. They'll be underdogs in at least 4 of the first 5 games. I don't know about the Colts yet. They need an upset somewhere if they want to do better than 1-4. Maybe they can catch one of the first 3 teams starting out slow.

It's quite likely though. Only way we so much as smell a wildcard is if most our IF's come up on the positive end. And there's a ton of them.

I don't think they're gonna find those roles at this point Bubba. Our defensive front is going to hurt us. It's why I also think they couldn't have not seen that coming, so to me that means it was probably part of the plan.

I like your list Rams43 and agree with it mostly but I'm starting to think that B. Hopkins isn't going to make it and will possibly be traded for a 7th rounder or something in the near future.

I think Coach Mac will go with Higs, Hunter Long, Davis Allen as the main 3 TEs and more than likely Skow as a fill in 4th TE if needed.

I hope you're right, and you may very well be. I agree that if Stafford, Kupp and the crew stay healthy, we can make some noise on offense. It's going to be fun to see what this young team has and how they grow.

It was a good offense in 2021 and the Oline was shite that year.
