So this discussion isn't what one may think when first reading the title. I'm so fuckin tired of the lame ass Rams fans that try to profiteer off of the Whiner games by selling their tickets to the highest bidder. I typically go to Santa Clara to watch our Rams play those asshats but when I started looking at ticket prices because I can't watch in Santa Clara but decided to watch us play at SoFi (I do like nice seats), they are way fucking expensive and tons of folks are selling. Unless you have a real valid reason not to go, fuck those people. Those aren't true Rams fans in my eyes. No wonder we constantly look stupid with a sea of red at our home stadium. Vent over.

I’m also guessing many season tickets were snatched up by resellers. Would be great to upgrade current season ticket holders to those individuals who have resold their seats at least four games per year.

Would it be possible to have thread for selling game tickets? I'm a season ticket holder and if I were unable to go, I'd much rather sell it to a Rams fan on here than on ticketmaster/stubhub. Granted, my tickets aren't the best or anything like that, lol

That would be awesome. Would love to have the sea of red just turn into droplets of blood every great here and there :laugh2:

Please wait for a Mod to give you the official “okay” but I have seen threads here where people are offering up tickets to games they can’t attend for the very reason of keeping Rams fans in the seats.

The game is a few days after my birthday. I’m trying to get my boss to buy tickets and fly us down there for the game. I’ll let you know if this works out. Let me know if you’ll be there.

I think we can do that. I’m thinking @CGI_Ram would be the one to figure this out.

Right there with you, brother. Laws should restrict the sales to the original price, maybe plus 10%.

I like Rich Eisen. Maybe it’s the run for charity thing, but I like him.
I have a hard time watching his show because of that bald headed ass who plays his second. Unless I am mistaken, he is a season ticket holder for the Rams. A couple years ago Rich was needling him because he was selling his seats instead of going to the games. When the issue of selling his tix to 9er fans came up, he was unconcerned—just wanted the $$.
A) he’s on TV and can AFFORD season tix. Then he burns the Rams by selling his tix to the much hated rivalry.
2) how can you be a Rams season ticket holder and NOT want to see the game vs the 9ers? That would be the be one game I would HAVE to go to. I know.

I went to the last two Rams/9ers games at Candlestick—when I knew we had no chance. The only reason I went to the last one was because it would be the last game there. Fuck him, whatever his name is. He’s no fan.

A great portion of season tix holders @ SoFi are big corp and investors. Locals do have and sell their tix to recoup the silly cost that includes ridiculous prices for meaningless pre-season games.

Point is the season tix are spread out across many factions and I just don't see this changing quickly.

Lets hope we get to the point that enough Ram fans fade that sea of red

Also, corps buy tickets too.
Just not boxes.
A friends company in Denver has four season tickets and a share of box for the Nuggets and Avs. The owner has gone like twice in 5 years.

It's a free market. LA since I was a kid in the 70's was a Dodger town. Dodgers. Not Rams. Maybe in the 50's it was the Rams In Los Angeles. It was always Dodger and Lakers. Los Angeles has never ever been a pro football city. In the 80's it was a Raider town.

Agreed,
Not really even a Laker town, Dodgers yes. In the 70's the Rams were rivaling the Lakers popularity maybe even topping it but that is a hunch. We saw Ram players in commercials we won a ton, support was at it's highest. The NBA was hurting it wasn't until the merger and probably end of the 70's early 80's that it really started to grab hold. (you get the best of basketball when you watch the nba, watch the nba on cbs slogan comes to mind) Dodgers were in the world series 4x through 70's to early 80's and continued to have success.

We can support teams in every sport here but you have to win and in the case of the Rams you have to build a fan base like an expansion team or a team that has moved from another city.
The old timers like us that stuck with them are a very small portion

You had to mention the Raiders YUK>>>>YUK>>>YUK. Still washing that stinch from my mouth. LOL

We'll see, I'm on the fence at the moment.
