Bring him in to compete. I'm not sold on Allen being a 16 game starter at center.

I hope he is a Ram next year. He could compete and likely win the Center job. If not he’d be good depth at Guard and Center.

@ArkyRamsFan I am not too impressed with Allen.

I just think Allen would also be overpowered by guys like Cox and Hicks. I have not studied Groy, but I like his size and Kromer, who coached him, must obviously like him based on past interest.

Guys like Cox and Hicks win a lot because they're special players. Groy doesn't prevent that.

Rams can't afford to pay every position on the OL. They are 100% going to restructure or cut Big Whit (huge cap hit next season). Do they pay Saffold with maybe a slight home team discount? They can pay 2 guys on that line IMO. I'd rather pay Roger than an outsider.

IMO Allen is our starting Center next season. He's going to be ready to go and have another camp under his belt he'll be fine.

I am expecting we'll sign Groy as OG/C depth.
