I guess we will find out soon enough but I am just wondering who are some of the players you think will get released in the next day or two.

Is this a thread strictly about the Rams' cuts or the NFL as a whole?

Really curious about which Rams players Rams Fans think will be released in the next two days. It should be very interesting!

75 to 53 equates to 22 losses

The Soft Ball/Easy/Obvious Choices
RB Watts – Suspended
QB Austin Davis – Waived

That leaves 20
The Almost Certain Choices
FB/RB Zack Laskey
RB Malcolm Brown (practice squad candidate)
WR Emory Blake
WR Rodriguez, Daniel
WR Marquez, Bradley
G Brandon Washington
OT Darell Williams (practice squad candidate)
DE Martin Infedi (practice squad candidate)
DT Marcus Folston (practice squad candidate)
QB Brandon McGee
S Jacob Hagen (practice squad candidate)

That leaves 9 more
My Somewhat Expected Cut List
LB Marshall McFadden
CB Montell Garner (practice squad candidate)
CB Trovon Reid (practice squad candidate)
Note: I think both young CB’s get cut and put on the PS so the Rams can keep Bryant AT safety (as originally postulated by CoachO)

Now the final 6 – It gets a lot tougher
TE’s Bayer or Cunningham or both - I actually choose Both so they can keep an extra d lineman and the S Bryant

O-line: For me this is crap shoot do they keep 9 or 10 and who stays so one or 2 of these guys noted below will be cut.
C 1 of Rhaney, Barnes, and Jones -If the Rams only keep 9 I think one gets cut for sure and even if they keep 10 one may still get axed.
G/T Wichmann, Battle, or Donnal or none if they keep 10 and cut a center. I think they keep Battle and Donnal but not 100 certain
My guess is that they only go with 9 cutting Rhaney and Wichmann and then they are both added to the PS

D line
Longacre or Trinca-Pasat or both
My guess is they keep Trinca Pasat and try to sneak Longracre onto the PS but he gets claimed before they can.
LB Lynch or Hagar - I will go with Hagar staying and Lynch to the PS
S Christian Bryant - I think Bryant sticks and the Rams cut all three corners with the idea of bringing the two UDFA rooks back on the PS

This is my guess from another post on the subject:

The cuts: really tough ones in bold and hopefuls to land on (PS)

Alex Bayer
Emory Blake
Malcom Brown (PS)
Christian Bryant (PS)
Justice Cunningham (PS)
Austin Davis
Jo-Lonn Dunbar
Isiah Ferguson
Marcus Forston
Montell Garner (PS)
Jacob Hagen
Martin Ifedi (PS)
Zach Laskey
Matt Longacre (PS)
Cameron Lynch (PS)
Bradley Marquez (PS)
Marshall McFadden (PS)
Trovon Reed
Chase Reynolds
Daniel Rodriguez (PS)
Brandon Washington
Darrell Williams

I'll probably be about half right. It will probably be hard to keep some of those on the PS.

Looks like a really good and reasonable list! The only two I might question would be LB Dunbar (I would be a little reluctant to release him since I think the Rams LB position does not have a lot of quality depth and I also think Dunbar is a a pretty good LB who can probably play all positions if necessary) and Chase Reynolds (The Rams seem to really like him and are reluctant to let him go).

I know what you mean but our cut list is going to have guys on it that we are not used to seeing on there because finally, we have depth. It makes it tougher to cut people now. It must be agonizing to some coaches.

This is not the final there as always will be drops & pick ups. As they work & tweak the final master roster.

Alex Bayer
Emory Blake
Malcom Brown
Justice Cunningham
Austin Davis
Jo-Lonn Dunbar
Isiah Ferguson
Marcus Forston
Montell Garner
Jacob Hagen
Martin Ifedi
Zach Laskey
Matt Longacre
Bradley Marquez
Marshall McFadden
Trovon Reed
Chase Reynolds(stands good chance brought back)
Demetrius Rhaney
Daniel Rodriguez
Brandon Washington
Darrell Williams

Trey Watts (Sus)
Daren Bates (IR/knee)

One of those released TE's could come back.
Going with only 5 Lb'ers but 6 safeties.
Going with only 5 CB's.
Going with 10 Ol'ers.

Pretty much exactly how I see it. I might cut Barnes over Rhaney, depending on whether they think Rhaney would make it to the PS without being claimed. With all the contracts they need to renew next year, stashing Bates on IR for a year and keeping an extra one of their talented young guys looks like a smart move to me. I would be interested to see if our weight room guy could drop something heavy on the toe of Brown and Longacre as well.
