I find myself in a kinda fatalistic, watch and see, and very cautiously optimistic state of mind. Emphasis on cautiously.

So many swirling emotions...

Frustration for suffering 6 avoidable losses.

Further frustration for having to acknowledge that I may have overestimated this team and these coaches. Pretty painful thing, really.

Yet, here we are with a golden opportunity to still enter the playoffs. All that is needed is to beat the Cards with our backup QB that’s never taken an NFL snap, using our 3rd and 4th string RB’s, while missing Brockers and probably Floyd on D, while hoping that our OL can snap out of it’s 2 game slump. Piece of cake, right? Lol.

Can McVay, Staley, and Kromer pull this off? I dunno, but I wouldn’t bet against them, that’s for sure. We’ve all seen stranger things.

I’ll be sitting in front of my TV with an open mind almost like a non-Ram fan. Just trying to relax while letting the game unfold. Like I said, kinda fatalistic. Rooting for Wolford, Jefferson, Brown, and Jones, of course, but not really expecting much. A little bit like watching the Rams in that 79 SB vs the mighty Steelers. Hoping for a good showing but not expecting a win. I was very proud of my Rams in that game and I hope to be as proud of these Rams after this Cards game. Win or lose, I would love to see our 3 units have their six-guns blazing for 60 minutes. If they do, then I’ll be satisfied no matter the final score.

Hoping for a Rams and Packers win tomorrow. I have to work so I'll be keeping an eye on the score and then watch it when I get home. I hope Floyd can play and that there are no more injuries or covid cases.

I usually forget about all the side show shit on game day.

I approach all games the same, by convincing myself the Rams are going to win. I never approach a game thinking we’re going to lose.

You can tell by my score predictions :ROFLMAO:

This game again will be on German Free TV. The Last Game on German Free TV went bad (last game against Seattle) so i will enter the game with a bad fealing although i think we could win this one. Go Rams!

I think our defense will approach this, as a game they have to take over.
A game they have to create and score off of turnovers.

Our Oline has to be able to move the Cardinals Dline because,
we have to be able to run the ball. Whether it's Cam or Malcom.

If we can do those two things we win.
That will put Wolford in a situation where all he has to do is
manage the offense.

Me personally I am very excited to watch Wolford.
I am hoping he plays well enough to light a fire
under Goff's ass.
Maybe put in a little doubt in Goff's head as to who should be starting.

Maybe watch the game with my finger poised over the “abort” button in the GDT thread?

I was really upset a week ago, I'm fine now, it's another disappointing season but in my mind it's over, I'm over it and there's always next year

I am cautiously optimistic.
I am anxious to see what Wolford can do.
No one expects anything and the Cards has zero book on him.
I expect the Cards to stack the box in a big way.
I want to McVay to be aggressive.
Nothing to lose.
Maybe I am a fool (I’m sure I am) but this still feels like a win to me.

This is starting to feel like a “rest your players” type of game, with so many players either injured or out on COVID policy. I bet all my ROD dollars on a win, so crossing my fingers. If we lose and the bears win, well it won’t matter anyway. I’m blowing my wad on “Dances with” Wolford and our defense. Let it ride.

I'm not sure honestly. I dunno who this team is. And I'm not sure they do either. So I'm just watching. Almost like the beginning of 2017 again.
