Seriously ... if you're rolling in the 290's 3X in a series, then that's pretty awesome.

When I was a serious league bowler, 10-15 years ago, I held a 203 average in my best season. Best game ever was a 270-something.

Twords the 8th frame of all 3 games i had a crowd around my lane routing me on but every freaking time something stood in last ball. 1st time 10 pin 2nd time 7 and 10 3rd game 10 pin. Guess i was getting to amped and hitting the head pin a lil to high

Yup min of 1 ball in the 9th and 3 in the 10th 4 don't sound like a big deal until you realize its for perfection and you have 30 or 40 people watching over your shoulder lmao.

I'm still trying to figure out consistency...avg 163 with a high game of 231. This is my 2nd league year. I think before next season starts, I might get a spare ball for that damm 7 pin (lefty)

Hey, I'm lucky to break 150...granted I don't play that often. I've never seen anyone break 250 yet alone as high as you did.

I do understand the frustration though of being so close

Think about Yu Darvish...one out away from a perfect game.
