Going simple yet bold here tonight. Gonna do some grilled pizzas on my Weber BBQ and pizza stone setup. Cheated and got the pre-made dough from Trader Joe's - Regular and Garlic & Herb. Grilled up some chicken tenderloins and also have pepperoni, pancetta, salami, hot Ital. sausage. Three sauce types - marinara, BBQ and garlic-Ranch sauce. Fresh mozzarella, grated mozzarella, cheddar/jack/mozz. and Parmesan cheeses. Fresh tomatoes, fresh basil, sliced zucchini, red onion, green onion, green and sweet peppers, mushrooms for toppings.

Gonna be a build your own thing. If all goes well, it will go into my game day meals rotation.

I got this going on tonight.

No cooking for me. I word of advice. Don’t walk around barefoot in the kitchen.

Having pork and penne for supper. Thinking of either going to the bar by my house to get wings or ordering some depending how lazy and antisocial I get. Game doesn't start until 930 here...

I made the chilli I intended to make opening weekend, before lost power (Dorian) and couldn’t.

Brats in it. Homemade salsa.

I’m good for the day.

Just Victory chips for me. Mission tortilla strips and Pace salsa.

We haven't looked great this season and I haven't had my chips (Dorian stock up and migraine stuff opening day)

Wife is actually cooking tonight!!! (it's like a blue moon thing). Gonna make a ton of French toast which makes me so happy. I never get French Toast!

No Bueno Bro! I hope someone is waiting on you .. hand and FOOT! ;)

My wife and kids are helping a lot. What really sucks is that a week after the surgery, I stretched my back and felt a big pop in my foot. I have to go back Monday to get it inspected and likely will have the tendon reattached again. So I lose a week and have to deal with the surgical pain all over again.

And see if you can get someone to move that water bottle out of the way!

It's already gone!!

Enemy territory tonight; Boston!

Looks like there’s a burger spot next to the hotel, so that will be the play.

Lots of TV’s

A large link of kielbasa topped with french fries, coleslaw, and barbecue sauce, Hot Sauce Williams is nothing short of famous for serving up the Cleveland-derived Polish Boy sandwiches. They're messy to eat, but aren't most tasty foods? (Hot Sauce Williams, 7815 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland, OH 44103)

.....................................................................................................

Invented in CLE, and yeah they are pretty tasty.

People put different things on them too. Chili sometimes.

Hot Sauce Williams is a local CLE place. They had one very close, as in easy walking distance less than a mile, to the house I grew up in, I've had their food plenty. Damn fine stuff right there.

Getting high as a youngster led to serious munchies, of course, and Hot Sauce Williams helped us get through that sometimes.

Speaking of getting high..........Bourdain and Symon, who is a local CLE guy, were high when they filmed this I'm sure.

Brats in chili? That sounds hella good!
Right? Some of you guys make me envious of your culinary plans, I tell you what...

Get a pack of Johnsonville brats, regular.

Take a serrated knife and cut down length wise each one to deskin the brats.

Put raw brat sausage meat in with ground beef. Cook like you would ground beef.

I make a big pot, 1lb beef, 5 brats. Proportion the rest of your ingredients to taste.

Think we're going to stay pretty par for the course. We might toss on a hatch or two, but I believe we got the slaw with a wasabi aioli and we'll sub in bolillos since their design is perfect for this type of dish.
